This area is so congested. Bad traffic pattern, causing back ups. Everyone I encountered while inside, and a gas station were very nice, helpful, and friendly. So, I'll wait out the congestion and go again soon. Have to give them the 5!

A full review after a few years. The old Mentor GE plaza blvd. store was horrible. This new store on tyler blvd. had promise. Covid hit and they also took a hit in many ways. Always a problem at this store with poor management decisions. Went several times for FRESH Italian seedless bread recently, a household staple, and they are out 3pm on a Saturday - TWICE! Female manager on duty said they only make so much and did not treat me properly. No compensation for my time and very arrogant. A simple gift card would have sufficed. I will be calling corporate. Also, they are usually out of the popular doughnuts and the fried chicken is always soggy and hours old by lunchtime on weekdays. The seafood looks old and rubbery and the meats look fatty. The store is not very organized and the prices are somewhat higher than the competition. I have had it with this store. The management needs to go! As I always say, it starts at the top and it shows!

Produce at Giant Eagle is very good and at a good price. However, the seafood has been a consistent issue. I bought mussels for 4.99 which is slightly more expensive than local producers from West Side Market and Euclid Fish. Further, the about 20% of the mussels were dead. While I should have paid more attention to the ones selected, I am just disappointed that the seafood selection was not as fresh as I have experienced at other stores. I do appreciate that Giant Eagle is unionized.

Good, standard grocery store. Usually stocked with good produce and everything else you need.

Very clean and products are fresh. Good variety. Some sale items may be sold out, but to be expected. The new checkout arrangement is horrible! Even the staffed checkouts force you to interface with a poorly designed machine to handle cash or credit payments

I love the pharmacy! They're great! Produce section could be better.

Whoever designed this store you should get your money back. It’s a huge store with little tiny checkout area.and whoever approved it should resign. Do you think Mentors population is going to decline anytime soon?Stopped in this morning to buy a gift card. One manned checkout lane was packed and so was self checkouts. The cashier needed an override of some sort so had to call a manager.Logic would be that the line cashier would have an override approval. It’s a better customer experience if problems are anticipated rather than reactionary!

I heard a manager berating a young employee about how stupid she was. She couldnt have been more than 20. If this is how they treat their employees i refuse to support them.
