A friend of mine went up there the get service done, she scheduled it before Thanksgiving and today was her appointment that they set up, she takes off work, goes to her appointment and they tell they have no lifts open? And even if that was the case then you should have called her to let her know “You Had No Lifts Open” You should compensate her! 😡

Nick is very knowledgeable about classic muscle cars as well as late models. He altered his Schedule so he could troubleshoot an electrical issue on my 69 Barracuda before he left for a vacation so I could enjoy driving it while he was away. He cares about his customers. He considers them as friends. Thanks Nick.

Had a great experience here! I came in thinking I had an alternator issue, but Nick took the time to check it out and helped me figure that was not the issue. He also helped me change a battery side adapter. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a trustworthy, professional mechanic near Mentor or Cleveland, Mr. Nick is your guy! He was very responsive to my queries and got my car up and running within the promised timeline.
His prices are reasonable, and I liked his honesty and being upfront and keeping me updated on the work.

I don’t write many reviews but I felt I had to share an experience I just encountered.I just pulled up to Nick Bruner Auto Service and spoke to a technician about a tire issue I was having. I went in to the front desk and while no one was there I could hear and see individuals through the window. While I stood there for a minute I could hear profanity coming from the employees. I wish I remembered his name but finally an older gentleman with grey hair and beard walked and somewhat greeted me and I informed him of the issue I had.
He began to tell me different scenarios about how my tires could get fixed and when I responded back to his suggestions his response seem to be one of snobbish, arrogant and snooty. First he tells me he could do it and then he tells me is not going to do it. I don’t know if it was because of my outer appearance or that’s just his character. Just because you own or work for yourself or you are an independent business does not give you the right to treat people any sort of way. Let this be a lesson to those who believe they are bigger than there customers.

Upon getting a $5k quote from another local area mechanic for a job that needed a full brake job, shocks, and a few other items, I was shocked at the price (and feeling fully taken advantage of). I was then referred, by friends, to contact Mr. Brunner. After running down the list of repairs needs over-the-phone, Mr. Brunner immediately offered a quick general quote that was shockingly far lower than the first location I had contacted (I even joked with him about how I felt like he was messing with me). Mr. Brunner was fully willing to work with my availability for drop-off and pick-up and within the week I had my car back (good as new!) for less than $2k in charges (even within $100 of the phone quote estimation!). I honestly cannot recommend him enough. He was kind, professional, direct and explained what needed to be done with full and ease of communication. I simply felt taken care of and will be bringing back my vehicle for regular maintenance needs while recommending him to others! Thank you again Mr. Brunner!
