I seem to always have a problem here with nasty attitudes! From other reviews this seems to be a common factor at this branch! I asked for a simple receipt for a transaction of a money order- how is it one teller can process a receipt for a money order but another can't?? Can't wrap my head around the fact that your teller would rather turn a CUSTOMER away than to try to print out a receipt! How hard is it?? I may have to consider banking elsewhere if this is how long time customers are treated! Advice for the tellers there- DO BETTER, YOU ARE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE! DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC THAN GO FIND ANOTHER ONE!

Opened a new account with a transfer of funds. Only allowed to deposit $250. The next day I deposited over $25,000 in the form a bank check from Huntington Bank. At that time I was told I couldn't access more than $220 in cash until after a 5 day waiting period. I had landscapers to pay and they don't like checks. I needed cash. This smells like a government regulation so they can investigate where the money came from. It was a friggin' bank check from another account, not rolls of $100 bills in rubberbands. Then, to add my wife to the account, they asked her some invasive questions about her financial history. I get it. Go ahead and investigate me for the IRS. But it shouldn't take 5 days. I can get approval for a credit card with a $20,000 credit limit in minutes. To sum up, I'm 73 years old, worked all my life, I'm not a money launderer or a drug dealer and have a credit score of near 800. I know the bank is bound by all this regulation crap but there has to be a better way.

I have been working with US Bank for my business for over 16 years. The staff at the US Mentor East Branch have always been friendly and efficient. The notary service is incredibly convenient. Very happy with my banking experiences over the years.

I'm really disappointed in my bank on center street. The vacume tubs have been out of commission for almost 2yrs due to a flood and the employees dont know when they will be repaired. I try to use the ATM to make my deposits but 98% of the time it is broken and won't accept cash. Then when I try to go inside the doors are always locked. I try to call and it rings Continuously with no way of leaving a message. It is frustrating to say the least.

Horrible customer service! Was told that a replacement debit card would be sent within two days. It's been a week now! Still no card. Service reps are rude at Mentor Oh. branch. Closing my accounts and going with anybody but u.s. bank.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The employees are terribly rude and judgmental. I had one of the worst experiences opening an account with them and would NEVER go back to this branch. US Bank needs to start hiring mature people because this is ridiculous.

Justin Burket is a racist. I went into the branch as a US bank customer to have my affidavits sign for the ohio civil rights commission , he was rude , and unprofessional. Why do business with us bank if these ate type of customer representatives they going to have working for them. I will be filing additional complaints against justin burket.

If I could give a negative amount of stars to this bank I would. The entire entity of US bank has been nothing but one idiotic blunder after another. My account was broken into 5 times in less than one year. I've had to make numerous calls to their customer service to deal with these issues. Their automated phone line is full of bugs (automatically verifies my phone number when I call, then tells me that they cant verify my phone number, asks me to enter it, they still cant verify it, then the person I speak with verifies it without issue...so many hoops to jump through just to spend MY money). Every time they have supposedly corrected the problem and canceled all the cards, it happens again (and every time I have to go through the process of updating all my auto bill payments). Then when it happens again, the next person that helps me tells me the previous person didn't do it right (IDIOTS!) I even went into the branch once. The guy canceled the card and ordered a new one (which I never received) and then told me I still had to call their fraud department. HUH?? Why do I have to do all the work? The other banks Ive been with did everything for me...THE CUSTOMER. As for this branch, I had a very large amount electronically transferred into the bank and it showed available online via my account portal. When I got to THIS branch to have a cashier's check made, they told me the funds weren't available yet (mind you I had already withdrawn money from the ATM, purchased things online, and taken an Uber earlier that day). The woman that had to approve the cashiers check had a VERY demeaning attitude toward the teller that was helping me. The teller's little info placard by her window stated she had only been there for a month and I felt bad she had to work with this horrible woman. The best part was that this new teller was familiar with this problem because it happened to someone else. Basically, she knew more than the woman working as her superior. After all that Ive had tons of trouble using my debit card. Charges are being flagged left and right, and I had to call 3 times in one day to have them release the card....Funny I cant spend my own money, but the people that hacked into my account 5 times had no trouble. I also never received any kind of alert that there was a hold on my card (no call, no email, no text, etc). I had to call THEM when I was continually being declined and figure it out myself. During the final call to their service line and the "fraud department" the woman said, "Lets hope I'm able to get this cleared up for you." LETS HOPE??? She was a senior account specialist in their fraud department and she HOPED what she was doing would work?? I cant believe the level of idiocy at such a large financial institution from the poorly trained people all the way to the glitches in the automated phone system. It seems nothing and nobody in this company knows what anyone else is doing. Im pulling everything out and going to PNC this week.

8 have been with US Bank for a long, long time, Probably at least 2 decades. Since then, I have had no surprise fees and great service. The only regret that I have is that the nearest office is on Mentor Ave, Mentor Ohio 44060. I live on Nelson St. in Painesville, Ohio and have to take public transportation wherever I go. My P/t seasonal job is near downtown Painesville, and I am disabled with CHF and a bad left hip replacement. Sometimes I end up having to withdraw after work at a non-network ATM because I am exhausted and only want to get home, so I have to pay fees to US Bank and the institution that I withdraw money from. I wish that there were a US Bank in Downtown Painesville. That is,my only inconvenience. The services and quality are great! Thank You!

I was charged a $20 wire transfer fee, which includes "immediate availability" – but this branch refused to let me take the money out anyways. Poor training & incompetent staff - find another branch or bank.

Gina one of the bankers at this branch has very poor customer service. Having had her as my banker on two different occasions it seems like she is consistently having the worst day ever and has an attitude with her customers. Is good customer service too much to ask for these days
