Purchased a pair of boots from them about a week ago. The sales rep at the time was very helpful took his time went through all the different insoles and helped me find what I thought I Needed. (Thus the extra star) Fast forward to today, I wanted to take advantage of the fit and comfort return policy due to an issue with the steel toe and my job allowing me to go without them. We arrived at the store and a different sales associate was there he was rude, and condescending. Apparently because I mentioned not having to have the steel toe any longer, he ignored the part about the comfort being the primary issue and refused to honor their return policy. Had to call corporate and go to a different store, the company as a whole is great but I would avoid this location

I’m not one to jump on a 5 star rating by any means unless I feel like it’s earned. I have struggled with work boots and getting the right feel and quality. I have used them multiple times over the last couple years at this location and had nothing but the best customer service and never hesitate to go out of their way to help. I did try a closer location red wing to home but I didn’t have near the experience I had at this location. Highly recommend to anyone to make the extra trip to the Miamisburg location.
Also just had a resole done on a pair of older boots and I’m very satisfied with the results and they went the extra mile to oil and put new laces on at no charge.

I went in for a pair of boots and after selecting a different pair than what I had usually got I was asked if I wanted my feet scanned. I agreed and took my boots off and when I stepped off the scanner it looked like I might have sweating feet cause I could see a footprint left on the scanner. Next I started walking across the print pad and asked if the carpet is wet because it’s even more defined and I’m feeling it coming through my very thick socks. Now I’m informed that the carpet had been shampooed but they had a fan on it earlier. By my third step across my feet are soaked and there’s bubbles in the wet footprints on the reader. I asked if I could get some dry socks before trying on the new boots and was informed that they no longer have try on socks because of Covid but he could sell me a pair of theirs.It’s your fault mine are soaked!! I finally agreed because I wasn’t putting my soaked feet in new boots and wasn’t walking around in my old boots with wet socks either. He said he didn’t have any as thick as what I normally wear but got the thickest ones he had I wasn’t nearly as happy with the socks as the boots. After trying on the other pair of boots I decided they weren’t what I wanted and to just get the same as what I already had on when I came in. Except brown because you no longer make them in black. I ended up buying the boots, new insoles, mink oil, brush, and a pair of 17 or 18 $ socks that I’ll probably never wear again. I love the boots but your sock sales tactics suck!! If I didn’t need the boots and HAVE to have dry socks I would have been going to a different store for my boots.

The dayton mall store never has anything over a size 12, always a 2 week waiting before the boots come in. The last 3 pairs I've bought from this store I had a 2 week wait. Very disappointing

Great store owner has awesome customer service. Was willing to work with me on a return and special ordered a boot they didn’t have in two sizes for me to come in and try. Happy with my Irish setters, help saves my news and look great!
