I needed a trailer hitch receiver installed on my new truck and the rude lady tried to tell me the hitch ball was a receiver. She was horribly rude. I’ve had a few installed on my vehicles prior over the years at U-Haul. . Now I need to find a new place because this one is inadequate. Horrible customer service.

The only complaint I have is that I paid for a dolly for furniture removal and it was not with the truck.Otherwise it was great!

Terrible service, they never answer the phone when you call, and they never ever want to refill your propane tanks. Then they lie about the propane being out of service because they are to lazy to come out. Especially the young Lady with the colored hair.

GREAT JOB GUYS!!!! Keep up the good work.Every single step of my experience with this company went smooth as silk. Big shout out to the young lady at the service desk. She was very friendly, helpful, informative and pleasant to work with. I could not have asked for a better experience. Great company.Topnotch!!!! A+++ in my book.

This location double charged me because I was 30 minutes late returning the truck from an 8 hour estimated time I gave. They have plenty of trucks. No body went without because I was slightly behind schedule. I dropped the truck off before they closed too so it wasn’t like it was sitting overnight. They didn’t even have my U-box set out when I got there, even though I had to schedule a time for that too, which caused a delay. They don’t have to be on time but I do? Pure greed. Really makes me not want to use uhaul ever again.

These people are dishonest. They wrote down the wrong starting mileage on our receipt and proceeded to tell us we had driven 90 miles during our 2 hours of renting the truck. We drove a total of 19.8 miles, from the U-haul store, to Carlisle to pick up a couch, to Miamisburg to drop off the couch, to Kroger to fill the truck with gas, then back to U-haul. That was a total of 19.8 miles. We left U-haul at 4:43 and returned the truck at 6:49, before they closed. Also, the seat foam was spilling out of the driver's seat and one of the headlights was burned out. It was dark by the time we got back. Not only did they over charge us for the mileage, they manually entered another $10.95 charge after we left without telling us. No explanation. Nothing. I would go elsewhere to rent a U-haul truck.

Whatever you do, just don't need to contact their customer service line. Completely worthless and entirely un helpful in a time of need. As long as nothing goes wrong, you are good. Something does happen with your reservation or truck, except to have zero help from their customer service. What a waste of money having to pay those people to do absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, I did not get the option to review my call with them, so the review will go here. Hopefully, if the store starts seeing they are getting one stars for stuff they can't control, they can start holding their service teams accountable.

This is a company owned U-Haul location, and they have indoor and outdoor storage on site. The facility is fine, but the young guy who identified himself as the manager was difficult and obstinate.I went there to rent a small trailer in an urgent situation. The towing vehicle was a 2019 super duty Ford. The gentleman insisted on connecting the trailer, which I understand is their policy, so, fair enough, even though I have connected 100s of Uhaul trailers to various vehicles since working at one in my college years. After getting everything connected and testing the lights, he refused to rent the equipment. Originally, he said that my turn signals were not working and that I had a bulb out. I pointed out that they were, indeed, very bright and working perfectly. He was forced to agree that they were indeed working. He then said, "Your turn signals ARE ABOUT TO FAIL.""I can't put this trailer on faulty equipment."When asked how he could see the furniture, he remarked that my turn signals were blinking too fast, and that meant that they were "about to fail." I told him that I had installed LED bulbs in the front and rear, and that was the cause of the rapid blinking. That can happen if the vehicle originally had incandescent bulbs. This is common knowledge, and you would think that he had seen this situation before, but he refused to listen. I even appealed to the trailer hitch installer, thinking that surly he had seen this before but to no avail. I tried to show him multiple articles online to educate him, but he would have none of it. It was a busy weekend and late in the afternoon, and as I said, the situation was urgent, so we had to rent a truck at greater expense when a trailer would have worked just fine.I admit that this was an unusual situation and probably not an issue that you will have, but the number of 1 star reviews and complaints about the management means something is consistently wrong here.At the least, they should make it right by refunding the difference between the truck and the trailer rental fees, including the fuel costs.I will update this review if they make any attempt to respond.

Ryan was great to work with and extremely helpful. It was busy because of the holiday weekend yet he didn’t make us feel rushed. I bought a dolly thanks to his assistance and will highly recommend this location thanks to him.

On line registration was useless. Truck wasn’t where it was supposed to be. Went inside talked to rep. Since pre registered told in different lot.Sent me to different part of lot. Found it - no key. Went back inside waited again for another 1/2 hour . Same rep walked me over to locked box to retrieve key said since in other part of lot keys aren’t with it. He didn’t know that the first time I talked to him?

Didn’t have requested equipment and was not told until pick up because someone from day before did not return. They also did not inspect trailer at return which could cause a future customer issues at their pickup. Would not recommend and would look somewhere else for trailer rental

The facility is super clean and temp controlled. The front staff is helpful - well some are. The one guy was going to help me with a large chest and the other one stopped him. So I struggled a lot to get it in my unit. But I finally did it. Anyways, the same guy then accused me of stealing the furniture dolly I borrowed to get that large chest in my unit. As if! So all is well but that guy.
