When I came across an issue with the fit and movement of the sleeves, she made time to alter the design to work for me. I felt beautiful in my dress and loved her attention to detail with the beadwork! Thank you!

I am so glad I was referred to Lora and had the opportunity to work with her on my wedding dress! My dress was originally strapless, and I knew I wanted a sleeve to give my dress a classy, chic look. Lora understood my vision and beautifully executed the sleeves using the excess fabric taken off when my dress was hemmed.
Not only did Lora understand and execute my vision perfectly, but she also noticed some issues with the boning and meticulously fixed/removed/added as she saw fit so that the neckline layed correctly and supported my larger chest.
Lora took the time, went above and beyond, was thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable, and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. My dress was perfection on me. Thank you so, so much, Lora!!

I absolutely adored Lora and her shop! My wedding dress had so many layers to it that I didn't even realize until she had to start pining it. I needed it hemmed, my bustle done, and some work on the waist. All done for an incredible price and very efficiently. The bustle was so amazing and well hidden that you never would have noticed it existed. She even gave me tips for how to lay the dress while standing at the altar. You feel so welcomed and appreciated- her shop is like a warm hug!

Van Lear is ran by the sweetest woman in the world. Consider this place LGBTQ friendly. She altered me and my Wife’s dresses and we had alternating appointments so she would hide our dresses every time from one another, lol. The price is very fair to the point it’s surprising. Forget David’s bridal, you need love to be put into your dress, and you won’t regret coming here.

Very kind, talented and reasonably priced! She worked with me while I was 7 months pregnant to make sure my wedding dress fit perfect up to the week of the wedding! She’s very sweet and does wonderful work with alterations!

This was back in 2012. I wanted a dress that was unique and had to parts. The white "coat" comes off like a jacket and there is another dress underneath. The design was beautiful and everyone was friendly. I still wear this to the Renaissance Festival on nice days. Wanted something I could wear multiple times. Thank you

Lora was absolutely amazing!! She was able to turn my dress around in a small timeframe and made sure it fit just perfectly. It hit exactly how I wanted to at my feet and the cups she inserted helped fit perfectly up top.

Lora is an absolute gem at what she does! I brought her a dress without sleeves and asked her to create an illusion sleeve for my wedding gown.
