Worst thrift store in history. I'm an avid thrifter and this is the ONLY store I have never made a purchase from despite multiple attempts. Why? PRICES. Think $25 for a blender from the 80s with food still stuck in it. $20 for a junk toaster caked in crumbs. Furniture prices are basically full retail for items with obvious flaws and outdated style. Really makes you leave muttering "how is this place still in business?"After looking deeper into this company, it appears to me they inflate prices specifically so they can make money from agencies (some of which are government funded, meaning our tax dollars are possibly lining their pockets) that give out assistance vouchers for furnishings. Once you realize that, it all makes sense. Ask sky high prices, get bigger reimbursements from these agencies! The thrift side is basically just for show, the stuff doesn't seem meant for the public. For a "non profit" that is supposed to be "helping" people, it reeks of greed. Plain and simple. They even CHARGE people to collect donations, something literally every other thrift in the area does for free. Stop giving this company your items, stop paying them to take them. It's absurd. The state really needs to look into this voucher program and the price inflation that is milking it here.

The prices are outrageous. The free furniture program delivery is curbside only. How do they expect people to get their furniture into their homes.

NASTY AND LIARS FURNITURE FULL OF BED BUGS!!they said it was clean guaranteed that they steam and sanitize everything but upon the furniture being delivered. I investigated before brought up. It all had to go straight to the trash because all furniture was BED BUG INFESTED!! this risk could’ve gotten us evicted, and could’ve infested our whole apt building. Furniture sitting by dumpster which won’t get taken for a week and it’s causing a high risk by sitting out there. Praying nobody takes it. And everyone else getting furniture from them have no idea, it’s so sad.

I went in looking for a specific dimension simple small side table….I’ve shopped here in the past so thought I could find what I need here….but it’s been awhile and things have definitely changed….I could not believe the $300 price tag for a small scratched up table!!!! There’s no way that table cost $300 ever, even brand new. Most others were priced even higher. By a lot. I continued then to look at prices on other donated furniture. Unbelievable. Don’t expect a fair price on anything in here. Better off to keep checking FB marketplace.

I came in here desperately needing a couch for me and my two kids. For the past several months, I have been searching to find something in my budget around $200. Unfortunately with such a low budget, I have to be very careful where I purchase furniture from to avoid bringing any pests home.As a social worker I knew the furniture bank was a resource for people and families struggling to afford furniture. So I went in there expecting to find a couch of some sort. Before I explain how disgraceful this place is as a nonprofit, I want to say the employees are kind and try to work with you. However they can only do so much. I did not expect used furniture to be the same price as new furniture. The cheapest couch they had was $700 on sale. Most of their couches were over $1000. Coffee table sets $200-500. Its absolutely disgraceful. Yes people who are really struggling can get on a long wait list for a voucher, but even myself working two jobs can't afford those place because they are greedy.I will do my very best in the future to spread the word and to work to send anyone in need anywhere else, but there.

From their over the top prices to furniture that has been here for a decade, this store is absolutely one of the worst used furniture stores around.

Employees will rush you out the door 25 minutes before they close and will repeatedly come up to you and tell you how many minutes are left until you leave. The prices are absolutely insane for furniture that is used.

Look elsewhere, don't even bother. The audacity of a so called charity to charge the same price for used goods as new. A lot of them more. A sofa for $1800 that new is like $1100 tops. Coffee tables $200-$600 You all are absolutely ridiculous and beyond delusional. I feel sorry for anyone there that thinks they are getting a good deal. Such a shame to see what I can only assume is a scam of a charity ripping people off. This place needs shut down and investigated for fraud.

This experience was horrible from start to finish! At the initial call when sharing what we wanted to donate, it felt like an interrogation. When they came to pick up the items, the driver wouldn’t take a moment to listen to my instructions, instead walked away as I tried to explain how to get to the garage. Lastly, if I’m supposed to leave everything out, along with payment why do I need to sign. Very poor experience for someone looking to give. I won’t donate or recommend to the Cleveland Furniture Bank again!!

INSANE crackpot prices on Parma resident type of used consumer level stuff. They’re not rare vintage pieces, that’s for sure. Largely Chinese made and can be found for tiny a fraction of the price online.. if you can even find a manufacturer on this generic garbage. $10 each used standard kitchen glasses was when I finally said “F this place!” Seriously, who do they think they are. Crazy!!!! If you want to open a real vintage store, start with quality inventory. Then cut the prices by 3/4 of what you charge for this junk

Prices are way too high for the quality of the goods being sold. I remember buying a old leather couch for like $40 for an apartment a few years ago, that same couch would probably be $450 in the store now. Ever since the pandemic the prices have been insane and it’s really sad

I used to shop here all the time a couple years ago for clothes for my kids used to be able to find great deals here all the time for a $1 but wow has it changed the prices are outrageously high and they started price gauging the name brand even higher under armour and Nike things are $8 and up even just a kids nice dress is $8 you are better off going to goodwill down the street their highest clothes price is $5.11 and you can at least get half off of it and some point being a colored tag

I was charged $200 by Resupply the pick up company saying they were taking the couch to the dump Because it had a small amount of cat hair. I was never informed about what would be acceptabl. The couch could have been picked up on the tree lawn for free. I'm really angry.Linda Marsh
