Paid for airport shuttle to catch a 2am flight. No one took the time to write it down even after reminding them 4 times. Went to lobby to have them tell us shuttle was closed. No one took the initiative to tell us. Uber saved the day. Double charge our credit card. Buyer beware

DO NOT STAY HERE! It was so bad! I booked directly through the IHG website and arrived to find the hotel was overbooked. I attempted to wait in line to check in two separate times (4:30 and 7pm) and finally on the third time (at 2 am) was successful. Thank God they let me stash my luggage before my event or I would not have had a room. So at 2 am, we get to the room and it has not been cleaned. Beds were not made, towels on the floor, trash in the bins, surfaces unclean… but it was like this in EVERY SINGLE ROOM. They had been dealing with this all day! There were two staff members in the entire hotel, one of which was the shuttle driver who brought me a set of bedsheets to change the bed myself at 3 am. There were people everywhere throughout the hotel with various versions of the same story. The staff who was on site were doing their best but IHG should be ashamed of this. The word was that the entire housekeeping staff had quit. This hotel is right near the airport and there were numerous pilots who were in this position- I hope they got some sleep. We were given a full refund but man - we missed out on a lot of sleep! Hot mess! I should have taken more pictures.

Was supposed to stay last night, had 2 rooms booked for my family. We were in town for Yankees/Guardians game. We got to hotel to check in at 6:40 waited in line for 2 hrs to get to front desk, the line was to the door!!! We were told no rooms available it was overbooked and the rooms they had were not cleaned. The assistant manger talked to manager who said it was his day off he wasn’t coming in!!! There were fight crews from the airport that sat there from 3pm to 9pm no rooms. Apparently no cleaning staff and completely overbooked. Hotwire got us into another hotel 20min away. Which was another nightmare. Never book with Hotwire or Crowne Plaza again. We come to Cleveland at least 2 times a year never had a problem any where else we have stayed.

The staff here at this hotel at the front desk is absolutely mortifying. The van broke down in the evening when we arrived so we had to take an Uber . On top of that when we got to the hotel they said we can then eat at the restaurant for free and then when we got there all of a sudden there was only one staff member and told us to come back down . Came back down a few minutes later to see more people at the restaurant and now no food. Then the hotel front desk joked about there not being a van in the morning and here we are ubering into the airport . No communication. RUDE . From the front desk to the kitchen staff. Not fun.

This place was a disaster. Check in was at 3:00 p.m. but didn't get a room assigned until almost 8:00 p.m. because the hotel was overbooked, understaffed, and just a load of problems. My room was at least clean when I got it but no soap was provided. Due to lack of Staff no room service was provided my entire time there for the week. I had to go ask for towels. Luckily this was a business trip not paid for by me out of pocket, but a lot of unhappy visitors. Hopefully they hired more staff and have gotten better.

We had a conference at this hotel and I don't recommend others in choosing this place. Two of the three elevators were out of order, there was feces in the pool, the meals for our banquet were cold, and they overcharged a number of our guests as they didn't honor the group discounted rate and the employees at the front desk were rude and refused to contact their manager when these problems occurred. This place makes the Hotel Coral Essex in the movie "Revenge of the Nerds-Nerds in Paradise" look like the Conrad Hotel.
Rooms: Rooms are dirty and not maintained.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
We stayed at this hotel with our hockey team in a stay to play event. We arrived at 12pm having requested early check in at noon. We were told a room wouldn’t be available until 3. We kept hearing “one more hour” only to not get room keys until 8pm. we walked in to a dirty room. I was told it would take another hour for us to have a room with vacuumed floors- so I had to go buy Lysol wipes and blankets for us to sleep on and we didn’t walk around the room without shoes on. I wasn’t trusting “an hour” again.
Not only were we charged full price (terrible business practice considering we travel to Cleveland MANY times a year for hockey) but I was OVER CHARGED. I just called and was told it’ll be 5-7 business days before they return the money they STOLE. AVOID!!!

Do not stay here! My first night I stayed in an absolutely disgusting room. There was a hole in the door filled with spray foam! The sink was cracked and leaked on the floor. The towels and the sheets were stained and dirty!! And when I asked to get a refund for the room for the night they said they are not willing to do so.

Oh my. Three elevators but only one was working. The second one was available the second day and the elevator door opened while we were still moving! This felt like a big safety issue - especially considering the group we were with included many people who used mobility devices and needed elevator access. We had to wait and wait for the elevator. The hallway floors were filthy. Wallpaper is peeling. Bug on the bed upon entry to the room. Praying no bed bugs. We were told five employees quit the day before we arrived. The maid was still cleaning at 8:30pm and said she’d been there since 8am. People had rooms not ready until 10pm. Saving grace was that the bed was comfortable. Otherwise, seriously not good - this place needs to be renovated down to the studs.

This was the most disgusting hotels we ever stayed in. Dirty, Elevators were not working . Worst stays ever. When we checked in. They said our room was available. but when we went in. other people luggage was in there. Bed were not made.
How could our keys work when other people occupied them.
Not secure in my eyes.

Stayed here the 10/4 thru 10/6 for a large conference and banquet with a couple hundred people. 1 of 3 elevators were in working condition most of the weekend, very dirty rooms and hotel overall. You are better off staying across the road at Motel 6. When we arrived Friday evening they were still “cleaning” rooms at 9 PM at night, when we got off the elevator on the 2nd floor there were 20 bags of dirty linens that never moved until noon the next day. One room down the hall had no door knobs or locks with the door hanging open, it was obvious someone had a fight in the room, window was shattered and TV laying in the floor and never cleaned up. Do better.
Rooms: Dirty and disgusting, place was musty and an overall bad smell.

My only complaints are no hot water during shower, and trash cans had no bags, and would like more variety in what is referred to as the “gift shop” it doesn’t seem at all like a gift shop.
The food was amazing I had dinner and breakfast during my stay
Beds were incredibly comfortable
Pillows and blanket were like a cloud ☁️
Enjoyed the fitness room.

Our trip this weekend started off rocky, when our room was not ready for almost an hour! But that all changed once Tameka approached us with concern what we needed. Tameka asked us what we needed, and simply set us up with a room in seconds! She was so helpful, respectful, and made us giggle. Because of her help, we were satisfied and finally got a room! Thank you Tameka and the hotel staff for working hard!
