I have taken over 50 deer to this butcher in the span of 15 or 16 years. I have experience with at least 5 other shops, and most of those were pretty good, but this is the top deer processing shop north of Columbus. You can't find a better place to take your deer.
Custom Deer Meats got started in the basement of our home in the season of 2007/2008 during the recession as a way to make a little extra income. I grew up on an Amish dairy farm and had some experience doing our own meat processing as well as some for our friends and neighbors. Our customer base exploded through word of mouth and a little advertising. Today we process a few thousand deer annually for hunters from all states and deer culling plans from the cities. We strive for quality, customer service and flavor! Recently we bought the Charlanne Farms Meats deer meat recipes and plan on incorporating a few of those into our tried and true recipes of our own.
