I needed exhaust work done for a 1000 mile round-trip and they were able to get me in the day I called, saved me from an extremely loud and unpleasant drive. Price was about what I was expecting and they were fast.

He gave me estimates on portals, and then when I came back in to check on it, there was more stuff added to it and changed to try and rip off my insurance company. Nick tried to rip me off with a lot of stuff. I didn't need it. Everything he did fix. It was not done properly. He charged my warranty company for gaskets. He never put on improperly installed control arm and gave me my car back driving horribly found out later he took it to the Alignment shop twice and they still couldn't figure it out. It cost me thousands of dollars to try and do other things to figure it out. Just had a good mechanic finally discovered it. I wouldn't trust him to work on a lawnmower. Brought my car in for a hole in the radiator in towing serviced, stretched the control arms. Instead of telling me that what I really need is a timing chain he tried telling me that I need plugs and wires and a carbon clean and a few other nonsense things when my Audi SQ5 was operating perfectly. I agreed to two wheel bearings a purge valve. He was trying to get another $5000 from an engine that’s on its way out. Other mechanics told me right after I left his shop. he used all of my warranty money up, so I couldn’t get the timing chain. his lot is a mud pit and I didn’t notice a lift in his shop. He was very unreasonable when I brought any of the problems to him and even try to press charges on me. He said he’s very good at getting money from insurance company and warranty company which somehow he did get four control arms replaced when it was only one that was damaged and took it upon himself to order a cheaper one without me knowing. If we settled all manners then why did you just tell me two days ago that you’ll send me two new control arms? All you had to do is pay for the cost of putting another one on and I would’ve let everything else go but now I will see you in court for the thousands of dollars in rental car, $1200 subframe readjustment, valve gasket that’s been leaking ever since you replaced it. We settled the bumper that you did not put back on correctly. Oh yeah, the grill that you most likely broke the tabs on. If you would’ve just apologized for my year and a half, horrible experience all from your inexperience or neglect, putting on control arm the wrong way I would’ve forgave you.

Everyone at this shop has been so knowledgable and helpful! They have helped save me a lot of time and money when other shops almost ripped me off on things I didnt need. Fast, reliable, and honest. I drive out of my way to come here. And no one around knows more about Euro vehicles like classic VW's than these guys. You can tell by the rad passion projects they have going.

Nick and the team at Middlefield foreign auto were amazing! They went above and beyond for me. They provided quality work, constant updates and clear knowledge. Typically I’m nervous using mechanics because they have such a bad rep but Nick and his team are very honest and reliable. I will for sure be coming back and recommending my friends. Thank you guys again for all you did for me.

These guys bloodied their knuckles and got dirty to give me top notch service. They helped me repair a reoccurring pesky issue with my VW Golf. Great problem solving and mechanical skills! They got me back on the road with a perfectly working car!Will definitely return if anything comes up again.Btw they built a new shop!
