They would rather have their tellers come in sick and coughing and sneezing with a fever than offer employees sick days. Put them in front of hundreds of people yet expect them to be robots. Let them be harrassed by co workers and do nothing.

Other branches are great this one is not. I regularly make deposits and asked for some slips to take back so that I could fill them out ahead of time but was refused and told I could buy or print my own. Talked to the manager Barry D because I have used a few different banks over the years as well as other branches of Middlefield bank and have never been refused deposit slips to take hope and prepare my deposits ahead of time. He was extremely rude and unhelpful in general. I won't be coming back to this branch.

I have been banking with Middlefield Banking for about two years. In the last six months I have had 3 fraudulent charges on my account. The first one was resolved in a timely manner. The second and third ones occurred within 2 days of each other. They cancelled my card, which they should, and sent me a new one. It took a week and several phone calls to get a $2.99 charge removed. The second charge, over $500.00, is still not fixed in my account after sending proof that the charge did not belong there. I was under the understanding that if there is a fraudulent charge, they reverse it and investigate it. And also what they said they were going to do. They sent me fraud papers, in which I signed and returned immediately. Now, here is is, almost Christmas, and almost 2 weeks later, I am still out over $500.00! Very bad customer service. Especially when I had to do the investigating myself, email proof, and still nothing! I will be closing my account as soon as my pending transactions are complete.

While I love small local banks, this bank has been horrible. Brett Richey was unhelpful and spoke in a very condescending and ignorant manner. I wanted to enjoy this bank and their so called "commitment to the community" but with the way their staff treats customer, that couldn't happen.

This bank is horrible. Can’t connect to PayPal. And when you forget the password to Middlefield bank online banking you have to wait a day before being able to reset because it takes that long for their automatic email.

DONT USE MOBILE APP BANKING AFTER FRIDAY LATE HOURS. You checks will sit till Monday til noon before anyone gets to them. If 89% of the workers are working at the bank on Saturday then the ones responsible for clearing your mobile banking should be working too. Now I have to wait over the weekend till noon Monday to get anything done. Ime to find a new bank.

An AMAZING bank! I have been banking here since high school before I moved away for college! Everyone is so helpful, especially The current President, Tom Caldwell. The staff at Middlefield Bank is knowledgeable, courteous, the specialist bankers are excellent as well, especially Tom Hart. Whenever I go to this bank (or any other Middlefield bank branches throughout Ohio.) I expect and receive excellent and thorough service and have never been disappointed. Middlefield bank will work with you with any financial inquiries including bonds, special accounts, savings account. They are affiliated and work with the FDIC. I guarantee you that this bank is the bank for you!
