My electric was shut off so i called the number at this middle town location Friday May 16th @ 10:30am and was directed to the food pantry prompt to speak with someone about energy assistance because it said funding was available just not very much press one to be directed to food pantry to inquire . I wasn’t looking for a big hand out or looking for my whole bill to be paid I have half of the money and it’s below $400 . But Jan picked up very mono tone no emotion or greeting or goodbye just ended up hanging up .. kinda rude . Anyways as soon as I mentioned energy assistance and I was trying to collect a series of small donations to help bring me to my total she just kept cutting me off and said no funds available , have you called 211 ? I just moved to the are and just left a bad taste in my mouth . Maybe train some of the older folks on phone etiquette or at least show some compassion I mean this is a Salvation Army .

They do a great deal for everyone in their community and have breakfast and lunches on certain days for free as well as a food pantry

Over 45 years ago, I was ashamed to say I need help. I was taking in a new young homeless couple and we ran out of $ for food. You helped us at a desperate time. Thank You! Never will I forget. Yes! I have repaid S.A. over and over again. Thanks

Very strange church indeed but if you hungry they use to feed you and they help with what they can.

I appreciate everything they have done for me and mine because without them I would have lost my health. I have been working full time trying to care for me and 2 other adults. It was embarrassing but I never felt bad for being thereI appreciate them no matter what.
