Extemely rude, uncouth and unprofessional. I called to dispute a bill i recieved from collections 2 years after canceling my policy. I have receipts from my bank as proof of payment history so it wouldn't have been an issue, just needed to forward the info to her. Instead of cooperating together to resolve a simple clerical error, Tammy Man became extremely defensive and accusations l. She talked over me, asking the same irrelevant question over and over to which i answered repeatedly. She was so argumentative right off the bat. Super condescending and loud.And all I was wanting was to send her my bank statement as proof that the direct deposit transaction was paid so that she could correct the fault in the system and collections would stop persuing me over a false claim. She kept bringing up unrelated subjects pertaining to my financial status, even going as far as questioning my ability to keep more than $200 in my bank account. "You have an extra $200 JUST LAYING around in your bank account? Pluuuhleese! Hahaha!" She literally laughed in my face, I guess she was trying to insult my financial status? I responded with a yes, i am on a strict budget where i know there is a certain amount of money my account at all times. To which she responded with "So you mean to tell me, you dont even balance a check book? Like, do you even know how? So you just let your money pile up and assume you have enough funds to pay your bills? Haha. Obviously not bc you didn't pay this one." Yes, this is a real converstion i had with Ms. Mann. Its unbelievably childish customer service. Unacceptable. Completely embarrassing on her behalf.Even if a customer is wrong, in this case i was not, you do not interact with people this way. Word of mouth travels fast and far and honestly i am appalled at the level of disrespect i recieved. I HIGHLY caution anyone who is a working class citizen, who wants to save their hard earned money for affordable and HONEST service they can trust to seek coverage elsewhere. A small mishap which was easily solvable turned into an accustional, confrentational, "he said/she said" childish experience with no resolve. She should learn some manners and also take a class on customer service and business etiquette. Absolutely unacceptable.I will just fax my proof of payment to the credit beauro, no worries and thanks for the complete lack of cooperation. It will be resolved one way or another. I sincerely hope she has learned a lessen at least and will pay closer attention to her receptionists and billing department. Aside from poor customer service, taking people's hard earned money is more than enough to discredit your reputation as a trusted business.
