I shop at the Tractor Supply on Route 4 all of the time. They are sold out of fine shavings because they are on sale. I love that store!! Customer service is always fabulous! Can’t say enough good things about Amber,Steve, Doug, Will and everyone else in that store. So anyway, I needed shavings and went to Middletown. I have gone to that store in the past. I purchased a total of 14 bags of shavings for myself & 2 other people. They looked at me like I was nuts when I asked for a load out. I have done that in this store previously about 5 years ago. They had no clue what I was talking about. At the Route 4 store (#672) I can go to the register, then then what I want, and they call for a back load out. I drive around the side of the store, they open a garage door, and put heavy items in my truck. I am often shopping for 2 or 3 people plus myself. This is such a huge help with 50 pound bags of grain and 40 pound bags of pellet bedding for a woman who is alone. Middletown can SHOVE IT!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I will drive to the Soringboro store before I will step foot in there again! Skip these jackasses and go to store #672!!!

Tried to fill a propane tank and lady was just rude. Won't say what I want to say and I guess since she didn't like me giving the rudeness back she found anything she could to not have to fill my tank...wont ever use middletown tractor supply..sad cause I spent a lot of money there..ah well
Update go to the very next place and what do you know no problems filling it..smh

Used to be my favorite store to shop for all my livestock and farming needs. Now that they’ve chose to make a public announcement stating they are “ being a good neighbor “ by no longer sponsoring pride festivals. It’s 2024 who’s the snowflake now Tractor Supply?

We were helped generously this morning. But returning the trailer, the clerk was a bit rude, she stood in the way while we backed up to drop off the trailer and acted incredibly put out. Especially when she stated she was not going to help walk it into place, even though no one asked her to.
Guess everyone had a long day.

Paid $9 per plant for blueberry bushes. The packaging states give 6 weeks planted to show signs of growth. 2 plants were alive, 3 were not. I tried to return the 3 dead plants. In original packaging with original reciept showing where I had paid $9. They refused stating they had since clearanced them and would not return. Very frustrating since I had the original receipt, so obviously hadn't bought them on clearance. I would recommend paying a little more to get mature bushes from a nursery and not wasting money or growing season on these.

I’m here at tractor supply and whoever the person is up front is extremely rude. I didn’t get his name but it’s 8am Wednesday morning June 5 and he has a red vest on and looks as he could be of the Asian nationality. You, sir, need to freshen up on your customer service skills or do us all a favor and find a job that doesn’t require interacting with customers. You also have no business walking out to a customers vehicle up to their window and harassing them once they leave your store and then when they try to speak to you, you run back in like a coward. I will never come back to this location. Tractor supply has taken an extreme turn for the worst lately.

They never have bags,you have to carry the stuff on your hands.their excuse is they run out of bags,you go 2 weeks later,same excuse.how can you go to a store that no have bags?

Found a new source for the grilling season.
If they don't want to deal with you, they won't answer the phone.

called once trying to find a part first time i was hung up on waiting for the employee who apparently knows how to tell someone if they have something in stock called back no answer called again no answer, just pointing it out every employee who answers the phone should at the very least be able to confirm or deny weather something is in stock or notI have finally gotten a hold of the part I needed thanks to a very wonderful employee and a Miss Sylvia I believe her name was if it was not for her being such a wonderful employee and a joy to deal with and going the extra mile to vote verify they actually had the part and going to get it and putting it on hold for me. I would've left it at one stars. Miss Sylvia deserve five stars all day long.

I came to the Middletown Tractor Supply on 8/6/23 at 2:30p. The lady working the front register told me I had to leave my tiny fanny pack at the front register. I told her I have cash, checks, credit cards, my cell phone, and keys in the bag. Is she responsible for my items? A customer walked up to check out. She was holding a purse way bigger than my fanny pack. I asked why she gets her purse? The rude worker said "just go". I then went and picked out a $200 kennel and spent 20 minutes picking out a new dog food. I used dogadvisor.com to research the food I'm feeding my dog. This same worker came up to me (out of uniform now) and said "you've been here way too long. Your undermining the employees by pulling the dog food out. Everything has to be straight." IM THE CUSTOMER SPENDING $250+!! I pulled one bag of food out to read the ingredients, and pushed it back in. She said this to me in front of customers and other workers. I will not be embarrassed or harassed/ discriminated against. I really hope the corporate office reviews the cameras and sends a secret shopper to witness her behavior.
