Dollar General in Midland is a great store. The store is always in good shape. The last time I was there the cashier's name was Tina. She was busy the whole time that I was there and very friendly when she checked me out. Thank you Tina!

Dasani water tag clearly tagged on sale as $3.75. Lady named Kati argued that the tag was old and the price was now $5.75. Would not honor the price after ripping the tag off and was very rude to me. I used to frequent that dollar store but I will make it a point to go to the Family Dollar instead since Dollar General's prices ALWAYS ring up more than the shelf price says and now the employees are rude to customers, it's ridiculous.

Wednesday 5/7… went into store at 9:42. Hate going in before closing. Gentleman in store spoke to me. An employees YELLED/Screeched from the front of the store, “Store closes in 8 minutes bring your stuff to the front.” Jim (gentleman grabbed cokes) I grabbed mints… heard what sound like a rude comment as I was coming to register to pay thus said, “excuse me?” A long braided hair woman came out of the office to reprimand me on my disrespectful behavior. I hadn’t done anything, yet. I was genuinely disturbed she could be so rude. She told me not to ever come into her store to be disrespectful to her employees…. never in my life have I been rude in there. Always 100% supportive, smiling etc. Told her that… she said “Good because I work darn hard for my team.” She went in office, young man rang me ups… still has not uttered a single word.I ask for her name. She says why and then gives her name & finishes sentence “I can give you my District managers name ‘ Number.” Her name Desiree. She said I am totally rude, get out of her store, now I’m frustrated and trying to speak over her… she flips, cancelled my ordered, told me “it been too long a day for her to be disrespected by people like me and get out of the store now. there’s the door” (I’m still wondering what she meet “by people like me”. Refused to give contact info and said, “look it up on line”. She was clearly stressed over the top. Probably should look up the word disrespectful. I said, I think we have 2 different understanding of the word disrespectful.
There have been amazing teammates in the store… most gone by now. It has been dirty. cluttered. Shutdown by fire department for a few days. Lately been pretty darn good! But tonight… I can say without hesitation, if I had pushed back, she’d have come unhinged. Police called. Sad. For I appreciate those willing to work. But not to be jerk. I can only hope cameras were working and can’t be erased by her. That perhaps she can get some further training. no need to fire… train on service. only 2 people in store to scream/screech… what about walking up with a smile. We were only in the first aisle. Certainly A lousy way to end a Wednesday.

Maybe the cleanest, well stocked, and well organized DG I've been in. Kudos to the manager and her crew.

It's very difficult to get waited on. Most of the time the cashier's are outside.

Seemed to be low on lots of things..the shelves were very picked through and bare in lots of places.The only item I was looking for was completely out of stock. Which was instant mashed potatoes. I finally spotted a couple of single serving cups and am pretty sure the cost was $1 each, but scanned $1.39 each at checkout. Maybe I didn't look hard enough at the tag. I was just satisfied that I didn't have to leave empty-handed.

Brand new location with very friendly hard working staff; the store was brand new and looked clean and very well organized! It's great to see these new locations! Stocked well!
