Well, the self checkouts are closed which we all know by now, but apparently the regular checkout was too today… lol I waited for a solid 8 minutes in front of the counter, no one there. Finally went and looked for someone. No one there. I just sat my things down and walked out. If I were any less of a person I woulda just walked out with the dang coloring books 😂

I see alot of reviews on here bashing this place because the self checkout closed. As if your time is so precious. God forbid you wait 5 minutes longer. News flash geniuses, IF PEOPLE DIDNT STEAL AND ROB THE PLACE BLIND, THEN SELF CHECKOUT WOULD STILL BE OPEN!! It's called loss prevention. Should Dollar General just continue to take losses so that you can hurry back to whatever mundane activity you were engaged in???? Get real. Stop being selfish and stand there and quit crying. This place has always been accommodating to me and my children. They do whatever is within their means to make our experience a pleasant one. The store is immaculate and the bathrooms are so clean, sometimes I have a picnic in the center of the floor. As far as closing early, I swear that's an anomaly because I'm always just barely making it there and the doors are open. I'm not playing devils advocate here, but nowadays people are just such cry baby's. You are gonna let the ONE THING a place does that upsets you, overshadow the multitude of things they've done right by you??????
Something is wrong with that picture. Would you be so hard on yourself??? I doubt it. Stop crying and use that five minutes you're standing there waiting for an associate as time to reflect on your life and the things you may need to change or tighten up on. Hell, you may have an epiphany and become a new, better person as a result. Then what???? Thank god for that five minutes of idle time or you'd have never found yourself. I bet you wouldn't thank Dollar General or even attribute any of that spiritual awakening to the time you spent in line while shopping there. But by God they better not lock that door before 10 on the nose!!! Have you taken the time to look and see what time almost every other Dollar General closes?? You people are extremely bored and lame. I'm not much better because I just typed all of this. I couldn't help it though. The gripes you people have are the weirdest,fakes, annoying grieveances I've ever read and it really irritated me. I've been in stores with HORRIBLE customer service. This ain't one of em. Get real.

I live nearby and it's not worth shopping here. Self checkout was removed, making the entire shopping experience slower. Staffing issues mean the store closes 30 mins to an hour before the listed google hours of operation basically daily. I take my money to local competitors like Kroger, Target, and Walmart. Dollar General has left little reason to shop here. Competitors have more convenience, better hours, better staffing, and similar prices.

I went to the store at 9:53pm to grab tampons and pads for an emergency and the doors were locked and the people were inside. I think that is very unprofessional especially in cases of emergencies! If you don’t want to work the job the proper way then quit!!! I bet dollar general doesn’t appreciate losing out on money or recovering bad reviews because of poor and lazy staff!! Videos and pictures will be sent to corporate!

This place was great when it opened because it was easy and convenient to Pop in and out of with self checkout. Now they have closed self checkouts permanently and you have to stand in line for the 1 open register, or walk around and try to find a clerk to get checked out because they are usually on the floor doing something else if there's not a crowd. Bummer

It's within walking distance from where I live. The store is always clean. And the self-checkout is fast and easy to use! The staff are always willing to help.

This new Dollar General is amazing! It has a refrigerated section full of a lot of food options. There is a home décor section with holiday specific decorations. There really is everything you need here (minus alcohol). It is also all self-checkout so it is fast in and out of the store. The store is new and very clean and organized.

I wish I knew the two females names that were there but they were so very friendly in their warming welcoming personality matched the store 100%
