found some good items however overpriced compared to my local goodwills and thrift stores and when i went in there i had to basically check myself out tell the lady all of the prices and take them off the hangers and into the bag while she rolled her eyes and stared at me instead of helping me, i usually have a good experience in thrift stores however i've been here about 5 or 6 times and it's just always something with the employees there

Voted best thrift store in Cincinnati! If you are a treasure hunter you never know what you can find here. I scored some vintage Christmas dishes that I adore. It's worth the stop for the hunt!

Service always good and you actually pay second-hand pricing (unlike goodwill that is now For-Profit.) thanks for all you do for the community!

Always friendly. Well stocked. Depends on what you're looking for. I donate there often. Great community service.

Can always find the odd piece we’re looking for here. It’s a bit chaotic and always long lines but when finding the piece you’re looking for it’s worth it.

I have shopped here since it first opened and it has progressively become a huge disappointment. Although ALL OF THE MERCHANDISE IS DONATED to St. Vincent de Paul, store management has slowly placed any item they perceive has value (by looking up prices LISTED not sold) on line, to exorbitant prices as well as placing ridiculous amount of merchandise behind the counter. There are dozens and dozens of items on the shelves that are broken, chipped, cracked and should be discarded but instead are given a price. It is appalling when a charity like St. Vincent de Paul is taking advantage of customers who truly need to shop for their families here and literally now can't afford a second hand store. Apparently upper management is not monitoring the over inflated pricing for a thrift store or the hiring of discourteous and unhelpful staff.

The worst and most hateful environment, clientele, and employees i’ve ever encountered. My partner was minding their business and the people here refused service, stared at, pointed at, and blatantly ignored them. It did not feel safe or friendly for ANY of us, and we’re white. The employees were antagonistic and snobby. People in the parking lot CIRCLED us, pointing and staring like we’re animals in a zoo. If you’re looking for animosity, stupidly high prices, and the stink of self righteousness, come to this place! You’ll leave with a heavy dose of anxiety and an emptied wallet. I see the owners have done nothing to address this behavior either, and that’s more telling than anything. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Expect to watch the cashiers (especially in the household section) spend more time texting than actually ringing you out. Even at the regular check out, the employees spend more time fighting with each other and the customers. The environment is so combative and everyone shopping feels it. Even if you abandon your cart at checkout, you won't leave empty handed - you get a unpleasant dose of vitriol for free.

If you’re a trans person I suggest avoiding this store. I went on a Sunday afternoon and the clientele was very hostile and the staff at the furniture section avoided serving me so they could serve customers who looked like them. Not a single person here was kind or polite to me even though I was minding my business. I left the store after 4 instances of antagonism. I do not recommend this place at all.

My favorite thrift store. Lots of random goodies at low prices. No comment regarding the cashiers.

Great products, great prices. But insulting, young, unprofessional staff who believe it's their right to harass shoppers for having a doggo in a car while it rains and you have windows opened. Don't shop here if you want to be harassed and preached to by young, arrogant, uninformed teenagers. Elevated my concerns to the manager and the Cincinnati board for handling. Btw- pup was happily chewing on his treat on his blanket when I came out- to my 72 degree ventilated vehicle- as a PETA member

In the past 4 months I have noticed an extreme price hike on all items. Rude and inappropriate actions from employees. Some seem to treat the items as their personal items they are selling. Many items are chipped or broken but priced as perfect. Sure the items are relatively cheap but dollar store items priced at 4-5 dollars or more is wild. I understand it's a thrift shop and the items are donated for some reason or another. There is many things I could say about the behind the counter scene I could elaborate on but I won't. I just ask you want to keep selling items at all maybe watch the inflation price you are placing on items.

My brother and I went to this store early Saturday afternoon April 1st, 2023. This is our first time ever at this St. Vincent De Paul store. We went in and I explained the wonderful sales all greater Cincinnati area stores offer. We went our separate ways and my brother approached me upset and confused. He asked me can we leave because his cart was taken away and his items gone. He was holding two suits he wanted to buy but why was his cart taken? I was upset myself and asked for a manager and the manager came holding two items that did belong to my brother and asked my brother did he want the item and he asked why would you take my cart? And the manager yelled because the cart was empty and never offered an apology. He left and I dropped my items too in the cart and left and several white customers did not move despite asking politely to move. Yes, this St. Vincent De Paul is predominantly white with only my brother and I shopping today who are black. No other St. Vincent De Paul operates in this fashion without a simple apology and explaining of cart removal or simply asking around any customers whose cart is this. Nevertheless, this was a racist experience and for all people color please avoid this racist store period.

i don’t think they understand they’re a thrift store. the most unreal prices for stuff they got for FREE. the furniture section is overflowing because everything is priced like this. not pictured was the $350 beat up bike that was old, rusted and collecting dust. get it together.
