They are steadily renovating. But,... place needs a lot of help. Need to reopen the Restaurant/Lounge back up. No where to eat around the place. Certainly NO WHERE you could walk to.

This place had bed bugs, is filthy, wifi doesn't cover the entire property, my room didn't have a mirror, toilet leaked on the floor and was sticky, TV rarely worked, breakfast was the worst I have ever seen and I travel all the time.Rooms: Filthy, broken stuff and outdated. Bed bugsNearby activities: Nothing to do around that areaSafety: My first room didn't have a 2nd lock and I was solicited as if I was a working girlWalkability: There is nothing around you can walk to at all except a travel plaza that is a good ways awayFood & drinks: Expensive and pretty much non-existentNoteworthy details: Trash and broken stuff everywhere

All of the staff and I believe even the owner were AMAZING, friendly, helpful and it was a nice retreat in the country!!! Tysvm!!! Posting some of pics took while walking outside?Rooms: I got an epic deal on room with 2 queen beds, full size fridge and kitchen area, chairs, etc!!!!Safety: I felt safer there then at home honestly

This was a quick look up as I was not expecting to get a room that night but my friend had a slight rat infestation and I decided to get a hotel. Got there around 10 pm to check in. The door to the lobby was locked and there was a phone number posted on the door. I called and the "manager" said ok give me about 10 minutes and I'll be down. So we wait in the car...waiting, waiting and waiting. As a go to pick up my phone cause it's been almost 20 minutes at this point a guy comes running over from one of the room and unlocks the lobby. Check in was quick and he gave us a room allllll the way down the other side of this very dark hard to find hotel that is surrounded by corn fields. As we go up the outdoor stairs we had to duck due to the LOW HANGING ELECTRICAL WIRES and had to literally shove the door to our room open. Now people have already distinguished that there is a smell. But the state of the room is really what I want to focus on. First off, there was some brownish splatter on the wall, bey you can guess what that was. There's a weird sticky substance on the entertainment stand and theres what appears to be literal claw marks going down the bed frame. Like someone was being dragged out and they clawed it all the way down the frame of both beds. Tried to call the number to get another room and the guy never answered. I slept my gun and with a chair wedged against the door. Now the next morning we are up early and ready to get the heck outta there right. Well we are walking by all the other rooms and seriously 95 percent of them, the doors were kicked in and held together by bungy cords. The windows were open and the beds and tables were thrown around like the place had just been raided. Checked the news and it sure had. After weeks of fighting to get a refund I feel.... I should've just stayed with the rats.Noteworthy details: Read the review. Whole place needs coved with note worthy detail

Being worked on. Not really a good tourist destination but it's an out of the way truckers stop right by a Love's truck stop. Rooms need a lot of work. Smelly, dirty & illequipped. Had to ask for a chair so I could sit & eat & they brought me a lounge chair. Go figure. Mismanaged. Who'd a thought a Super 8 by Wyndham could be this badly managed!? Guy was complaining when I left saying he used a lot of points & said he had to buy spray cans of disinfectants to stop the smell. Obviously he wasn't happy either. Bed was good, micro & fridge. Good shower & tub. Large room. A/C good.Food & drinks: The best part was the Love's truck stop. You can get all the food you want. @ 10 different types of hotdogs & an Arby's there too.

Nasty, dirty & mold/mildew everywhere..I'm sure there's bed bugs.The room stinks to hell...He lied & said he would refund our money, its been 7 days & we've received nothing!!This place should be REPORTED & CONDEMNED... ? ?

Super 8 should be ashamed to have their name on this dump. The "manager" lives onsite and is NEVER in the office. I am sure there was meth cooking occurring onsite... The room I had has to be the filthiest rooms I have ever stayed in. 1 Star is too generous. I have seen cleaner dumpsters... Stained towels, sheets, mattresses and walls. The coffee pot was coated in dust and bugs everywhere. The bathroom had long hairs in the tub and on the floor. All these photos were taken at checkin.

Checked in 15th Aug 2023 and checked out immediately.It was my fault for not thinking to read the reviews as I booked through a third party site. So when we pulled up, it was quite a shock seeing an abandoned establishment and for a split second I thought, this can't be it.Dingy dark dilapidated room with profuse stench for a non smoking room.flies buzzing around with mould in the bathroom. Floor looked like never cleaned and suspicious people all around. Didn’t feel safe even for a second. We had booked for 10 nights using Expedia. Till date no refund as Expedia says that they are trying to get hold of the manager at the hotel for refund approval. That is clearly not my problem at 7:30 in the night, as for me it was a precarious situation with money blocked this way and no other booking as the hotel cancelled the booking saying Expedia will refund soon. Expedia doesn’t seem to care for it’s reputation and is just there for making money. SHAME ON YOU EXPEDIA

It was my fault for not thinking to read the reviews as I booked through a third party site. So when we pulled up, it was quite a shock.We drove through beautiful farmland and lovely houses in the area so when we turned onto the property it was a complete shock. The first image we were greeted with was an abandoned establishment and for a split second I thought, this can't be it.Rounded the corner to see the actual hotel, a little relieved but skeptical. Checked in - little interaction with the guy at the counter, he was polite but quiet.When we got to our room, that was another absolute shock, I couldn't believe the state it was in! We opened the door to 3 or 4 flies buzzing around.I had booked a non smoking room and the stench of stale cigarettes was heavy. The door was a whole nother story, I literally had to shove the door for it to close.I looked at other hotels in the area but after paying for 2 nights here, I couldn't afford paying x3 per night at a place that didn't have horrible reviews.We arrived late and I didn't want to drive the 2.5 hours back or cut the trip right then and there so I sucked it up.The only semi decent thing about the room was the bed looked clean (we slept above the covers in our clothes) and the towels were clean and white (no stains etc. At least on the one I used to clean a spill).Needless to say we checked out early the next morning. I could barely stand being there one night, let alone two.A new guy at the desk was polite and didn't ask questions when I said I was checking out, I expect they're used to it.Was a disappointing start but we didn't let it affect our adventure the next day. I have not stayed at this hotel. But as i stand outside looking at it, i feel like this is part of a horror movie!! Plus theres plenty of reviews saying the same! Didnt have the courage to stay a single night!!!

****Not recommended strongly *****Too worst. There is no zero otherwise I could have given 0 why I tell you below. We are family of 4 with 4 years and 8 years kids.1. The room which we have booked was very ugly and bad smell. I never ever had this experience.2. We have check-in at 11:00 pm , Room keys not working then we had waited for 30 minutes then we were entered to room I can’t explain the smell of the rooms. We can’t even stay for 10 minutes. Then we have changed the hotel at 12:00 am midnight. Our entire trip was spoiled because of this dirty, worst hotel.Please review all others before you book.

Management will save your CC info on paper to use later at their own discrepancy. The place is a disaster. 40% of the rooms are down. I have been in multiple rooms and each one of them have had plumbing issues. The new General Manager will illegally charge your credit card even without your consent. There are holes in walls that allow moisture into the room. It WILL damage your belongings. The Wifi is barely functional and only reaches about half of the Hotel. Management is cutting costs and corners at every turn. Some door handles don't lock. Toilets and sinks clog often and refuse to drain. There is NO LAUNDRY and the "continental breakfast" is coffee, an orange and some tastycakes. Avoid at all costs. I've (unfortunately) stayed for over a month due to paying ahead of time. Good luck getting refunds on any prepaid time if you wish to leave.

I booked a room here, they moved me to Miami St in Toledo without calling me to inform me. It was late at night after 10 P.M. I was exhausted when I finally got to Miami St. The Miami St. hotel wanted to charge me more money and the room was nasty. The floor was sticky and grimy. The door frame was broken. I felt unsafe. I will never book at either of these hotels again.

We booked through Priceline (our first mistake) and when we arrived at the hotel we found that our chosen room was had not been reserved. The room that they did offer was not to our specifications, had not been cleaned, and smelled of smoke. When we tried to get a refund they told us we needed to go through Priceline, however when we tried to call Priceline, they threaten to call the police on us unless we left the premises. Entirely sketchy and unprofessional. Would not recommend whatsoever.

Although a convenient location near the highway, this motel was not a great experience. They say they are smoke free but as soon as I got to my room I could smell smoke everywhere. The blanket also had holes as if a cigarette was burned into it. At 4am, a heard someone trying to get into my room and a few minutes later a couple did end up getting in with a key. They were also very confused and it seems the front desk made a mistake. There was no deadbolt on my door either. I told the front desk about it in the morning and they apologized but did nothing more. I was traveling alone so that was pretty scary to have someone come into my room at 4 in the morning. Definitely not ok.
