Hours: Sol's Exchange is a large, multi-building craft mall and collection of vendor booths in Berlin. It is a favorite store and a popular first or last shopping stop for many visitors. The space offers anything and everything, from handcrafted décor, clothing, and pet supplies to furniture, artwork, seasonal decorations, inspiring items, books, essential oils, foods, jams, pictures, signs, yard art, home furnishings, souvenirs, and gifts. The variety is great, with quite a selection and many different vendor booths to explore, so you never know what you will find. It is huge, with so much to see that shoppers could spend hours looking. The environment appears clean and organized overall, with helpful and friendly staff and great prices, though prices vary by vendor. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating outside. However, the amount of steps to different levels inside can be a negative and is tough to navigate for those with mobility issues. Some visitors note that the experience can occasionally be disrupted by poorly behaved children or barking dogs on long leashes. A specific concern was raised about a cashier wearing cleaning gloves while checking out customers, which was viewed as unsanitary. Despite these occasional issues, it is still considered a great place with a wide variety, though some feel it needs some improvement.
