Unfortunately, there was only one other review on here that was not a good review. As of October 2023, the business has been purchased by new owners. I have boarded my elderly dog with them twice and have had a great experience with them both times. The business is very clean and organized and the owners care a lot for them. I will definitely continue to use them.

Absolutely awesome place!! Recommend to me by a friend 14 years ago. I have absolutely no complaints. Latecia goes above and beyond. About 7 years ago we moved an hour away. I still happily drive an hour to kennel my dog here.

First time ever boarding our German Shepherd and English Mastiff. Did our research for local kennels and so very happy we picked Thunder Valley. Pricing was amazing! Answered any question we had, facilities were well kept and our dogs came home happy and healthy!

Thank you for taking on our little pack! It was their first time being boarded and they enjoyed it. It certainly eased our minds that they were safe and well cared for!! We are bringing them back in a couple months and feel so much better about it!! Such a great facility to board your dogs!! Friendly staff that love dogs and take time to get to know them. Thank you again!! ?

We boarded our two labs here while visiting family across the country. They were great about giving our older lab her medicine. Our dogs were in great shape and happy when we picked them up!

I'll start off by saying this place looks very clean and organized and the owner seemed on top of it but that's where it unfortunately ends. My wife and I were on vacation with the in laws and decided to take our dogs to this kennel. We ended up having to spend $400 on our dog after getting home from vacation at the vet due to our dog getting a parasite from there. He lost 10lbs being there. We are not upset about the fact of the dog getting sick as we understand that's a risk taking our dog to kennels. We are upset on how it was handled and were lied to. The owner texted my wife Saturday morning saying our dog was throwing up and it had a blood tinge to it multiple times. We were 10 hours away and trying to contact our vet to get things figured out, we were trying to see if we needed to leave vacation and head home early. The owner offered to pick up medicine for our dog. We were trying to make it as easy as possible for her and have it sent to a closer vet by her and my wife got a text saying "I'd like to get going as I need to mow my big yard today. Are we still talking to the vet?" Which isn't very professional when people are paying you and trusting you with their family pets. We finally got everything settled and she picked the Medicine up and food the vet prescribed to help his belly. She says it helped and he wasn't throwing up anymore. We didn't hear back that day. Sunday we don't hear anything and it's noon, my wife texts and asked how everything is going today and she texts back an hour later with a picture of puke from him from the morning which I'm guessing was around 8am because that was when she did Saturday. It's now 1pm when she texts back telling us he is still throwing up. She said she will let us know at 2pm shift how he is after she talks to Angel and will let us know. We never heard back. Finally at 8pm my wife texts her asking if she had heard anything from her helper Angel. She gets a reply back at 9:15pm saying she went about her day and forgot to ask how he was doing. Again we are paying you good money, this is your job. If this is your kennel you should be wanting to know how a sick dog is doing in your kennel. She texts angel and gets back to us at 9:35 saying he had liquid diarrhea that was blood tinged. If we would have known this we would have left immediately to get him and take him to the vet. She kept saying he was acting normal and happy in texts but, I'm sorry when you have blood tinged vomit and diarrhea you aren't happy and normal. He's been home since Monday(3 days) and he's still sleeping and mostly lethargic. Still has diarrhea, Nothing happy and normal about it. She mentioned to us when he first threw up that she had 3 other dogs need to go to the vet for a cute hemorrhagic diarrhea, 2 of them ended up in the ER the weekend before we dropped off our dog. A responsible owner she should have mentioned this to everyone dropping their dogs off so they could make the choice of kenneling their dogs with a possible sickness. She had medicine and gave them to the 2 dogs that ended up in the ER for parasites. So she clearly knew something was going on in her kennel. My mother in law called her vet as a precaution when we got home for her dogs and the vet wouldn't even give it out. She had the medicine that was prescribed to our dog there at her kennel so how would that happen if they don't give it out without symptoms? She has not been very truthful about the whole situation to us and I believe the only reason she mentioned this was because of another review that was left by the owner of the 2 dogs that ended up in the ER. She had no problem calling for payment for the stay but when it came to getting back to us about our dog she "went about her day and forgot". She should at least own up to her mistakes. Disappointed after spending $185 for our dog to stay there we had to drop another $400 at the vet because of not being told the truth. Luckily my brother and sister in law were able t

This was our first time boarding our dogs and it will be the last. The staff is very nice but I am so disappointed to find out our dogs were sick while in the kennel. They never called to inform us and didn’t even bother to tell us when we picked them up. They also gave medication without even asking or telling. If we would’ve known they were sick we could have scheduled a vet appointment but instead had to spend thousands of dollars going to an emergency clinic on a Saturday for an overnight stay to save both of our dogs lives.

Our 2 girls have not stayed anywhere for about 3 years. We are extremely pleased on how they are cared for every time they are there. It takes a ton of pressure off of us! Thank you Latecia and staff!

My dogs recently stayed for a week. I heard nothing but good reports when I got back and my dogs seemed very happy! I think they enjoyed being able to play with other dogs and get to run around in a new place. I will definitely bring them back!!Such a beautiful setting!

This is the BEST kennel I’ve found. The dogs get to play outside with other dogs of similar size 3 times a day, which is unheard of at most kennels. They also have a special room for cats that has a window for them to sit in. My senior cat wasn’t eating at first and they tried different foods until they got her eating. Both of my “kids” came home happy and healthy! Will definitely use them again!
