“Hands down best prices and best drive-thru owner in Akron. He's always working hard, giving back to the community and looking out for those less fortunate during holidays. Inspiring kids to do good in school by offering them $5 for good report cards. It's the little things that prompted me to drive from Northfield to Akron just to show him love in return for all he does. He's amazing. Thank you, EZ for being you.”
“Great selection! great customer service!! If they don’t have what you’re looking for they can order it or point you in the right direction. I appreciated that so much I just went with the tequila they had! Again what a great selection”
“Good store overall. Employees are really funny and joke around with you. This store however has a smaller selection than others I’ve seen. They did however have what I was looking for here.”
“Clutch Lanes has some of the best food you’ll find anywhere near a bowling alley — honestly better than many restaurants. Their tots are next level, the boneless wings burst with flavor, the wraps are packed with flavor, and the monthly pizza specials are always creative and delicious.
What truly makes Clutch Lanes stand out is the customer service, especially Rachael. When my wife and I are deciding what to order, she always gives great recommendations and helps us navigate the menu based on what we’re in the mood for. She genuinely cares about every customer and goes out of her way to make sure Clutch Lanes meets — and exceeds — expectations. Her kindness, attention, and dedication turn a great meal into an unforgettable experience.
Fantastic food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend Clutch Lanes!”
“These people are like family when my daddy died Bob Pierson , Chappy and the crew were so caring to me and my momma! They do have the coldest beer! And any thing else momma needs! Thanks guys!”
“It's a neighborhood drive thru on the outskirts of Akron, that as the name suggests sells... you guessed it: beers and corner store liquors, wine, along with chips, candy, cigarettes, and rolling supplies like Gambler tubes and Hot-rod rubes, The Good Stuff- rough cut 'pipe-tobacco'. Personally, I came for two boxes of Gambler tubes, which are of adequate quality, although they are twice the regular market price here than just about anywhere inside of Akron. From personal experience, the Hot-rod tubes are good enough to pitch in the trash! The lady working was very friendly and helpful to me. This place had no line, although it was rush hour.”
“This is my favorite liquor store to come to in Akron, OH. The owner Joe is VERY friendly and remembers your name when you come often an also remembers what you usually buy. He also has some VERY good employees that also are friendly and remembers your name as well as your normal drink choice I recommend coming to this liquor store when you want a good deal on what you want to buy to drink and walk out with a smile on your face. I think this liquor store is the cheapest one in Akron honestly. Definitely recommend this as your only choice when purchasing your alcohol needs.”
“Stopped in for the first time today. Very unassuming from the outside, but the cashier is extraordinarily friendly and helpful and I have a really good selection of wine. Much better than I would've expected. I will return!”
“I like this place, and it's convenient, but if you don't start carrying light Twisted Tea again, I'll drive out of my way and go elsewhere. I asked the cashier to pass on my request to management, but he didn't seem like he cared, or would pass it on.”
“I've been going to this drive thru for about 14 years. The owner and staff are always nice and helpful. We have good and amusing conversations. I consider them my friends.”
“Always have available whatever I need ,and even if there is a line of cars they have someone taking care of you inside and they will walk out to your car to ask what you need.. In and out quick service... The way business should be..?”

“This place is definitely tucked away if you didn't know it was there. The prices are pretty good and it's not really that busy so the lines are not long and the wait time is minimum.”
“Been going to this place for a number of years. They always have great people helping out and they have a good selection of beers . Would be 5 stars if they sold 80 proof alcohol”
“Holiday special vapes for only $17.99. I got a great deal - 2 for $35. Great collections of vape. Nice staff with great explanation of things they sell. Definetly coming back”

“I LOVE the staff at this drive thru! Best prices and friendly staff. I used university drive thru one time and the person that was there was so rude I'll never be back. Especially with the amazing service here, why would I ever return to anywhere else?”

“If you have a request they will grant your wish as long as they are able to! I asked for a certain brand of beer and they had it within weeks! The staff is GREAT.”
“Used the Curbside service for the first time. Once I got through to a person (after 5 minutes) things went quickly, they even accomadated to me being a half hour early than my pickup time. Alexis B was very friendly & efficient.... got me loaded and out quickly. The worst part was getting through to someone to check in.”
“It's a drive-thru in a college town. It's not a fancy national chain or a grocery store, and utility processing is an amenity that they try to provide despite being rushed for time and low on space. Stock is always good, and in nearly a decade of living in this city I, nor my friends or S/O have ever had an unpleasant experience with the staff. Some weird, really specific one star reviews that should be addressed.to $20 wine person: you cannot buy wine in most stores in Ohio on Sunday, except those with special licenses. If this actually happened, the person who offered this was trying to do you a favor, and wasn't going to do it for free because they likely put their job at risk to do so.to the creepy extra $2 charge person: while the extra charge is not remotely justified, and this sounds genuinely creepy, it is not representative of this place on a day-to-day basis. Sounds like the cashier was drunk or something, and probably (at least, hopefully) isn't there any more.to the strange specific "threats" person: It sounds like you know the owner personally, and are trying to pose a civil matter as relevant in order to hinder this business. I would not recommend this approach, as if you are truly being threatened and it has nothing to do with the business, the post could most definitely come back to bite you.”
“Prices are tremendous, they have a huge selection, the staff are always very service oriented & polite. They just “get it”…. They are “get it”people and they all understand the value of a dollar.
……And on a side note, they always give me two doggy snacks, one for the dog that I bring in with me and the other for my big guy at home that I don’t…
….”
“I love this store. So happy that it's gone back to Save-A-Lot and is no longer that value food market or whatever it was. This location has the best employees and I mean THE BEST. Every single one of them are kind and show up to do their job. They've worked hard to get the store back to what it used to be and I couldn't be happier. I just wish I was able to find an updated phone number on the internet somewhere. What's up with that?”
“A lot more inventory than the one I typically go to so I'll def be doing more shopping here!! Going back today actually!! And the pricing is phenomenal as well!!”
“A nice shopping experience. I love the different cart sizes, self checkout option, and open layout of the store. Almost everyone has been willing to help find any items you are having trouble finding. They have a lot of specialty finds and their deli, meat, and seafood area has a TON of fresh options that you can’t find at other grocery places nearby. The shopping experience as a whole is definitely better than places like Marcs, ACME or Walmart. My one pet peeve is that the women’s room is almost always requiring attention and that there are only 2 stalls and a super old hand dryer. If they could update it or maybe add one additional bathroom in the opposite corner of the store, I think it would help people who don’t get around the best that might have to use the bathroom during their shopping trip”

“Ellet Save a Lot is much needed in this area and it is a great store. Mark who manages is so kind and friendly. It reminds me of the neighborhood grocery store from years ago where people all knew each other and call each other by first name. It’s a good store for older people because parking is close and it’s easy access.”
“I love this store. The cashiers are good at their job. The store is clean. It's to bad so many kids go in there and steal and think its funny. Shame on them.”
“Many times, less advertised store brands can meet your expectations and thus save you money while having it's own distribution system sustain availability. You get that with Save A Lot. I start there for many primary food sources and budget accordingly with great satisfaction. These days, with inflation raising food prices, this may become a necessity for an increasing majority of shoppers. Fear not, you won't be disappointed here.”
“Very friendly staff. Great selection of deli meats, fresh sandwiches and all kinds of convenience items. Also a good place to find out about fun & charitable events in our area.”
