I’ve always had a great experience working with this Hertz location. They are a franchisee of Hertz which is perfect for local travel if picking up and dropping off at the same location. The vehicles are new with the newest connectivity options and in overall good condition. I’ve never had any issues, and if I do, I’m certain they’d make it right.

Is privately owned and makes it a total hassle to get something. Especially if already booked on through the Hertz app

The gentleman that helped us was friendly and we were in and out. Car ran great. Didn't see any signage until we went inside.

This was a horrible experience to say the least. Called in a few weeks ago to reserve a truck being I am contractor and have to continue work while my personal business vehicle is being worked on. Got to the place, only to be told that they were putting me in a Nissan Altima, and that the word was not passed on(mind you, same place of business) to reserve a work truck. I was then told by a guy named Evan that he would temporarily place me in an suv until the truck became available tomorrow. Upon checking out, this same guy tells me that I was being given the Nissan Altima because the SUV was not clean ?. I then stated that what happened to the SUV that you would temporarily place me in until tomorrow, he began stuttering and immediately passed the buck off to someone else. And again, I demanded that the SUV be cleaned as I was not driving off as a contractor in a Nissan Altima. So here I am waiting, wasting time. I will not be doing business with Hertz again!

Been here a few times. It’s a bit confusing for the drop off/ return after hours. This is because it’s connected to a auto repair shop that also has after hour drop offs.The after hours hertz key returns says not to use and envelope. Then when you go to the drop box it says hertz keys must have an envelope.Last time I was there the woman at the desk was great and really friendly, unfortunately she had to walk a while to get my car because they hadn’t pulled it up.

Clunky service, not smooth. Lack of communication amongst workers as I recvd phone calls about turning in the car from one person and another saying I'm fine to keep until the auto body was done with personal vehicle

Zero stars if could. The only professional person in this place is Stephanie the manager. Enterprise is better if you can't make it to Hertz Centerville, avoid the hassel and avoid paying for someone else's mistake.

****Please read**** I had shopped around on the internet for a suv to drive 5 people in to Florida. On the internet it showed me a L class Jeep Grand Cherokee that was very roomy and would suit us . I call Joe Morgan Hertz about renting a car and told Zach that I needed it to hold two car seats and a 17 year old comfortably for an 11 hour drive. He stated that they do not have L class vehicles that they would upgrade me up to the L4 class at no additional charge. I asked him what kind of vehicles are in the L4 and he said the 3rd row ones. He stated that the new ones come out in June and that he doesn't know that manufacture yet because of this. Well come 7-29-2019 at 730 am we get to the place to find out that they now have L class ones and that's what they tried to put us in. It was a 2019 Kia Sportage. We drive a 2007 Acura TSX and our car has much more room then this did. In our car we are able to fit all the kids in the back comfortably and 5 plus suit cases in the trunk . There was no way we could fit 5 of us and more then 3 suit cases in the KIA. We explained to them our frustration on what Zach told us and all the 3 of the workers kept saying was at the time your correct we didn't have the L class. They told us they couldn't upgrade us to anything else because of their policy nor would they call other Hertz to try and help us out. We called the Hertz customer service only to be transferred 4 times to different nationality speaking people who couldn't understand what we were trying to do and our issues. The 4th customer service lady was with emergency road side and couldn't understand why we were transferred to her. After that we called around and found Avas on Kings Mill was able to accompany our needs, price was cheaper and they were very understanding and helpful. So what turned our leaving time at 730 am we didn't hit the road till 1130 am because we had to go else where to search for a car. In closing please read the other reviews and trust your gut feeling. You can look at my account and see I don't leave many reviews but I feel I needed to after what had happened to us as I don't want the same issue to happen to anyone else.

Worst car rental company. They kept charging my card for rental because they did not close out rental contract. I had 4 additional charges over $100 each. Took 2 days, 6 phone class to get it cleared up. In the mean time, could not get help from management or supervisor to help clear it up. No support for customer. When I request a supervisor, I was told they don't give out supervisor information. Then I was accused of giving falsified information because someone within Hertz Customer Service contacted the incorrect branch to look for my car return. They called me to tell me that I falsified information because they went to the incorrect airport. Wow!! I have never been treated so poorly as a customer, that I plan to never use them again.
