BUYER BEWARE. hopefully you never have to break and pay out your contract. I called to fully pay and break our contract. They directly transferred me to the third party that installed it (safe heaven). I paid and was invoiced. Then ADT later sent me to collections for “not paying”. Just go with Vivant or literally anyone else.

Id give Zero if I could. Do yourself a favor and run fast, and run far from ADT. They do not care about you as a person. They only care about your money. You have no control over your system. You cannot add / remove sensors you are always forced to purchase with professional install. In a situation like mine, call me an idiot for this...Door to do salesman suckered me in. Made mistake of signing and there is no turning back. trying to void the contract and I have a better chance at meeting the president at Burger King .. thus far ... don't bother... move on ... safe your headache for something that matters.

Technician came out to do an install without looking at the condo or speaking to me about what I want done? He called the condo management and informed them that I was asking to drill into the brick of the building? Which I wasn’t, causing me to incur a $500 fine from property management. Multiple calls to the company went ignored technician manager Vance refused to return call. Company retained the payment used to purchase the system and refuse to communicate or coordinate.

DO NOT USE ADT!!! Your alarms has to run for so long before someone calls to check on you and you can be forced to put your password in by gun point they should have you put your password in backwards if something is wrong it’s not as safe as they make it and once signed up after 3 days you’re screwed you are stuck in a contract no way out. They lied about how much the equipment cost. They some how changed my plan and I have to keep calling to have them fix it and it’s still not fixed all they do is keep giving me credit to my next payment I have had to call up to ADT NUMEROUS TIMES IT IS RIDICULOUS! I have to keep using my time to call and let them know a false payment is going to come out of my account because I am making payment on the equipment they have to have your card on file and it is set for automatic bill payment I have had problems with the equipment. My alarm went off they lady asked me was I ok and I said yes and she hung up they are supposed to ask you for your password just in case you’re being held up. ADT NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN THERE BUSINESS. I have had conscious numerous problems and am still having them I wish I had looked these comments and saw there rating before I got them now I’m in a 5 year contract. It’s over priced as well you can get the same cameras off of Amazon for cheaper and there are better cameras where you can turn them from the app to see different angels ADT is behind on technology even though they claim to have new updated tech. Do not purchase from this company I am trying to save you from the hassle. All they want is your money they will lie to you to get it.

IF YOU'RE SMART YOU'LL USE A RING CAMERA BECAUSE THESE GUYS JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.
This company does not care about you at all. My wife and I had a truck drive through our house so we were forcibly relocated into a rental. They told us originally that they would move us to their "rental program" that was ADT plus or something dumb like that. Then when we did it, they are now trying to charge us the cancelation fee for the last one(which we were originally told would not happen because we kept service) and they're trying to charge us $5000 for cancelation and equipment. Even though they told us all that would go away since we were being loyal customers.
These are the kind of companies that feed on people in hard times to make quick cash by sending to collections and ruining peoples lives. I will never EVER use them again. They're whack!!

I had ADT installed less than a month ago. I had a seizure and pressed the medic alert on my keypad and it didn't work. When I called ADT they confirmed that it was not connected but wanted me to troubleshoot the system. I'm 90 years of age and don't use a lot of electronic devices. I am not willing to troubleshoot when the system should have been installed correctly from the start.

Door bell does not pick up anything. Can't get someone to help us fix it either. Asked for a different camera and they wanna charge me 200 dollars on top of the 70 a month i pay for service. I would never recommend anyone to adt

We had a natural disaster and lost use of our home and ADT still made us stay in contract with them. There is literally no electricity to even power the keypad and our home is wide open. They told me to contact my home owners insurance to see if they would cover my cancelation fee. Will never use this company again.

Recently bought a house and the saleman kept coming around in a new Honda Accord. Kept coming by to see if i was given a flyer that i repeatedly said no to. Told them I had a security system without a subscription plan and they keep sending me mail.

BIGGEST WAST OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!! THEY SAY THEYLL GIVE 2 MONTHS FREE SERVICE BUT I STILL DONT HAVE THAT!! OH AND MY CAMERAS BARELY WORK!! I HAVE VERY EXPENSIVE DECORATIONS ON MY BUILDING!! BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER!!!!!

I called several times to cancel my account, and they continued to debit my card. Throughout this time, my property was not being monitored, because the equipment was not plugged in. To be honest, a one star rating is too generous.

Don’t do business with them. You will regret it every single day and night of your life and they will stress you and your family out to the point you become super depressed and paranoid and never want to leave your own home. They’re terrible.
