True craftsmanship that is the exception in today's mass produced throw away world. These guys are the best for custom kitchens, furniture and hand thrown pottery. Your purchase will last a lifetime.
6/20/2024 Update - I got the chance to see custom pieces of furniture being made today while visiting the Workshops of David T Smith. Such artistry and craftsmanship in this place.

We just had a kitchen done by the workshops of David T. Smith. Everything about this project went smoothly and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. Everyone we worked with was so Knowledgeable and gave us some brilliant ideas. The quality of their craftsmanship was over the top.
A truly custom kitchen that would be hard to find anywhere else. Everyone that has come over and has seen our kitchen has just raved about how beautiful it turned out. We would definitely recommend them if you were thinking about doing a kitchen remodel or just a special piece for your kitchen.

So far I have paid this man $29,000. down for custom cabinets built to completion, at which time I would owe an equal balance plus add-on charges. Only 2 weeks prior to completion he claimed that he was in a cash crunch so he had unilaterally decided that he wanted the balance wired to him prior to cabinet completion, he stopped production 6 weeks ago and has continued to demand the balance to be paid or I will never see my cabinets. And he is calling it his "deal" to me.Do not do business with David T Smith!! If anything changes I will update this review.

Their craftsmanship is unrivaled . If you can get what you pay for. Read their contract closely we gave him $35,000 down payment on a kitchen that he never built and refused to refund any money. There’s a special place in hell for him.

I recently purchased a gently-used DTS clock as a special wedding present for a couple for whom I will be the wedding officiant. Although I live in Virginia, my home town of Hudson is in the heart of the Connecticut Western Reserve. Extremely happy to source a handcrafted clock made in NE Ohio - a touchstone to my childhood!
