Lowe's for all of your home improvement needs. Stop by the local Mount Vernon, OH Lowe’s to pick up gardening supplies, check out new appliances and paint colors or try out new patio furniture. Employees are great and very helpful. Many visits are great, with helpful assistance in the appliance, paint, and loading areas. Customers buy wood, paint, and all their supplies for projects here. However, some visits report problems, including long waits for help loading lumber and rude customer service with long hold times on the phone. There is also a concern about the selective application of the advertised veterans discount. While some suggest other stores, others describe it as a great store with good people.
Went into Lawn & Garden for soil and seeds. Easton, our cashier, was so pleasant and helpful. A very nice young man!!!

Good store, most of the staff are fairly knowledgeable and seem to be more than willing to help if you should need it. My only complaint is that on certain items their pieces are a little high, particularly the tools. I shop at this store regularly.
