My husband is diabetic, sometimes he doesn't pay attention to his sugar levels. Today, was one of those days. His sugar dropped to 54 which is dangerous for him. He stopped at this Dollar General and bought OJ. Lisa noticed he was slurring his speech and shaking, she asked if he was diabetic. He told her he was. She went out of her was to make sure he was safe. She went to the car to retrieve his meter. She then kept him in the store until he was at a safe level and his sugar was going up. In today's society where everyone is to busy and doesn't care about each other, I am so very thankful for this woman.

I have been a customer here for several years. Today (May 8) I purchased dog treats, cat food paint brushes, cashews and Dawn dishwashing soap. My order came to $60.66. At the time I remarked on the cost, asking how I got that high. No answer. When I got home I found that I had been charged for a cheeseburger $5.00 and extra Sheba cat food at $15,25. This comes to $25.25 on someone else's ticket. I am 84 years old. I can't afford to by someone else's groceries. I will never shop here again. Watch what your clerks are doing.

If I could give the assistant manager Lisa 0 stars I would. I asked for help she was putting the truck away she refused to help me with an item that had been out of stock for 2 weeks and she refused. Very unhappy I went home. My husband came back and that same assistant manager LISA was making fun of me to other employees saying she wasn't helping me she was just there to put the truck away. How does someone like this become and continue to be a manager. I have no choice but to shop here as it's the only thing with in 10 miles. I have never been so insulted in a store in my life! Great job Lisa!!!

This store has awesome staff! Very friendly ppl n willing to help you when needed.The Kenton store definitely deserves a new store like other towns have.Have done my shopping here for years n will continue to do so❤
