As I was leaving the area, I stopped again at Sunny Slope to pick up some items to bring to my husband & other daughters:
- another 10# mixed bag of apple seconds
- Pumpkin Butter
- Apple Butter
- Mustard (one with Horseradish & one with Maple)
- Heirloom Tomatoes

I visited my middle daughter and her family in Navarre, and this was one of our first local MUST GO places.
Lots of seasonal items.
Some local produce, some out of the area produce.
I live in GA so of course had to photo the Georgia Peaches box!
After strolling through we got some tomatoes, bananas, blueberries and a mixed ten pound bag of apple seconds. Everything was good, but I ESPECIALLY liked the apples. I made some applesauce (no sugar added), an apple crisp, and then more applesauce (still no sugar added). The variety of apples, when cooked, made one of a kind batches of deliciousness.”

“I’m a big shopper at Aldi’s in Ohio so when was going to Fin Feathers Fur in Canton I saw this right next door and couldn’t resist. Store looked nice from the outside but even better when ya walk in. Everything is laid out nicely, shelves stocked, produce looks good.

2 things I enjoy about Aldi’s is typically they stock healthier food with less junk ingredients and also very competitive pricing. Found some frozen burgers for around $4 a pound, sold! Most places charge 5.75-7 a pound for ground beef or frozen patties. This is as of May 2026 pricing btw, when live cattle pricing is very high, hence expensive beef at most places.

Also picked up some bread to have with my burgers this weekend. Grabbed a bottle of wine, very reasonably priced and good quality in my opinion. Lastly got some dark chocolate bar for I think only $4, even beats walmart pricing with a lot of items.

The store was very clean and our cashier was very personable and did the check very very fast, always amazes me how fast the cashiers are here, literally faster than ai robot and faster than you can do at a self checkout. This store holds up the high quality of Aldi brand.”

“Cute little market. Passing through Zoar and stopped in for some essentials I needed for dinner that evening and some extras. They had everything I needed and saved me a trip to the larger grocery stores. I was able to grab buns, fresh tomatoes, and some trail bologna. The gentleman ringing me up was very personable and gave me the impression that this was a place that everyone knows everyone if you are a regular. Will try to return more often when passing through.”

“New, clean, and organized well. Hate bagging my own groceries on the tiny counter kiosks but it's not the staff's fault. Easy parking, wide aisles. Cart aisle is awkward but doable.”
