The people working here are so nice!! We stayed in the Yogi Bear cabin and our family had a pull through RV site. Great activities in the area including amazing hiking at Old Man's Cave. The bath house was under construction for our stay but it didn't matter much. Shower and hot water in the cabin was perfect. Kids loved the jump pad and tube slide. The lake water is blue with chemicals but the bounce slide was fun. Comfy futon bed also in this cabin!

Would not recommend this campground at all! Had a very negative experience with the owner. I booked and paid in advance for 3 nights to take my grandkids camping. The evening of the second night the owner came to the campsite and informed my husband we would need to leave because he had another camper booked that night for our spot. I spoke to the owner and he tried to say we had only paid for 2 nights. When I advised him I had a record for the charge totaling $203 dollars he said that did not matter, and that their reservation system only had us down for 2 nights. When asked to give a rate for one night of camping he would not do so. Needless to say we did not pack up and leave the second night because we had already paid for that 3rd night. The following morning the owner was extremely rude and yelling, very unprofessional. Needless to say I did not pay him any more money and will never return to this campground while it is under current ownership.

A great place to take the family whether you are camping or just going for the day! We always have so much fun when we go! The facilities are great and the lake is amazing!! The cleanest lake I’ve seen!! 10 out of 10! Do recommend!!

We loved staying here! There were so many activities for the kids to do! My 1 year old all the way up to my 13 year old had tons to do. One of the best parts about it was the staff. The owner in particular took time out of his day to listen to everything my 4 year old wanted to tell him (on multiple occasions) and accommodated an individual (odd) request we had. We won’t be going anywhere else but here when we come back! Thanks for the great stay!

Don't plan on tent camping here and getting any sleep. Quiet hours are not enforced. Kids playing basketball at midnight, 7 a.m. and dogs are free and barking all night. The owners and campground itself are nice, but the campers have zero respect for others.

we didn't have a lot of choices because the hocking hills area was so busy-----we picked a water/electric site ( not sewer ) and it was $72 per night for 2 seniors---when i questioned the price she told me what was included for the kids---i told her we had no kids--she gave me $5 off-----------then on top of that-----we went to use the wi-fi after we set up---could not figure out the password--we called the office--it was closed--left a message to please call my cell with the password in the morning---( she never did return my message in 4 days )---later asked another camper for the password and he said it's extra...another $4 a day for wi-fi...he didn't buy it.-----------and the sites in our area were very tight with others---we felt like we were camping in a group of 4 tents because we were all so close to each other

We really didn’t have any issue and made the best of our trip but Kept referring to it as not your “ typical JellyStone park.” Understandably with covid19 things were not open and not many scheduled activities which is fine because my kids prefer playing in the water and we did enjoy the use of the kayaks, canoe and circle boats. However to my surprise it is a swim at your own risk type of Pond. I was not worried about my family as I know we are all strong swimmers just kind of surprised they didn’t mandate life jackets as it seems some parts of the pond was fairly deep and there is nobody watching. We had a site right up the hill from the beachy area which was a nice view until everyone parks their vehicles and golf carts right out front .I wish they would have to park up by the gift shop instead. Again none of this was a big deal but there really was one disappointment for my family. We saw Yogi Bear come through the park 3 times and never once did he every drive up by our site!! Saturday night he was on the schedule again From 7-7:30 didn’t stop by again and was driving back home at 7:20. Finally on the last day we walked up to the main road and finally got them to stop so we could take it dang picture. Ugh he’s kinda like you know the whole point of being a JellyStone park! LOL I have small kids so I’m just saying at the other parks we’ve been to seeing Yogi is exciting but usually he at least gets out of the golf cart! We’re still glad we tried it out though and made some good memories!

We stayed 1 night as a family in an RV. We are New Yorkers . This is our 3rd RV trip , went to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons , and Alaska and have visited several campground sites . This is an excellent site . Very clean , lake beautiful . There are lake fronts and go carts available, very impressed!! We loved it and wish we could stay longer ! Highly recommend!!!?

We brought our three nephews here at the end of May beginning of June! They range from 9-13 years old! They all absolutely loved it!!! There seems to be a lot to do just here at the campground! They have just recently switched to become a Jellystone so they are in a transition! I can’t wait to see what they offer in the future! The kiddos favorite part seemed to be the lake!!! Lots of swimming was happening here at the end of each day!!!

We stayed here over labor day weekend. Owners were amazing. It was raining, they were flexible with out sites letting us put multiple tents on one site due to the rain. The owner was very involved with the kids. Finding things for them to do during the rain. Bathrooms were really nice and clean for a campground, especially given all the mud and rain. We had a great time will definitely go back.
