Not sure if it was the post office or not for it to be a government building it looked like a run down apartment not even a sign to know what door to use I guess I will ship my packages at another location

Online says post office closes from 1:15-2:15 daily, I stopped at 12:20 on my way to work needing to drop a package and the desk gate was closed. There was a had written note stating "Sorry, had to leave for 30 min, be right back". Seems weird to be closed outside of business hours and very inconvenient.
