Fern Hills Customs, LLC is legit the best gunsmith around. The owner is a respectful, friendly gentleman with great communication and a professional attitude. He does a great job, from a ground up 1911 build to California compliant paddles. The workmanship is first class and better than anything off the shelf. He is truly a master of his craft, with skill and talent for firearms. The owner is receptive to customer wants, helpful and friendly, with impeccable professionalism. It takes awhile sometimes for a job to be completed, but it is well worth the wait. Excellent in every manner. Highly recommend.

Today I just recieved a ground up 1911 build Jake did for me. He was very receptive of my wants for the build. It turned out better than I could have imagined. First Class workmanship. Truly a master of his craft and better than anything off the shelf. Highly recommend.
