I still think it is weird to have to make appointments for things like opening an account, and while i can see it can save money on employees, i feel it is used as a tool to reduce customer interaction

My accounts here have been hit by fraud more than once. They are not helpful when this happens. I needed a car loan a few years ago, went to them bc they are "my" credit union (yeah right) and they wouldn't talk to me, handed me a form, & said they'd get back to me. I went to the community bank down the street and had the car and loan before being rejected at DPFCU via a letter in the mail, no call. Yesterday, I needed a debit card, which they can make onsite. They refused, saying I needed to wait 10 days on an ordered one bc other members needs come before mine. This place does not value relationships. You are a number and as soon as you need them, they are not there. Do yourself a favor and bank at First Federal, where they are good at what they do, kind, secure, and caring.

It is so slow. I'm not understanding why it takes so long but the tellers doesn't say a word like give me a minute or anything not really nice like the retired tellers. The younger ones are not interested in being polite

Banked here for 20+ years. Great bank.Only complaint... Customers see alot of talking and not processing the canisters... Less chatter among the drive-thru employees would help get the lines moving again.Please

No, I'm sorry but they are not a customer service kind of place. It's just very bland and blah banking. I know how exciting should banking be? Well I left them because they didn't offer anything, no rewards no perks nothing. I sat there for 12 years and I recently hopped on Bitcoin investing. They will NOT let you purchase cryptocurrency nor will they work along with an online bank you may have. I believe personally, that is MY money they work for me, if I want my money to go somewhere then it very well should. They act like it's theirs telling you what you can buy and can't buy. Nope that's my money I took my business to a real bank.
