“I left the door wide open. Brought Chris a 99 Lexus and said "look it over and tell me what you find." He could have tried to sell me all kinds or stuff but did not. At 120,000 it was time for a timing belt, valve cover gaskets and plugs and a CV joint. Not bad I think and all reasonable stuff. The chain store was definitely just trying to “make a sale”. They came in super high, over half of what my car is even worth.
