Stole from us and told us they did It. Charged my wife $200+ more than I have been paying for years. I called to verify prices, got busy so I had my wife call for the order. When I called to inquire. I kid you not and quote, the employee told me every time I want my normal price "You would need to call and complain to the manager for your normal price"I understand prices fluctuate, If I had been informed ahead of time I would gladly pay. Blindsided customers when the driver says there is nothing they can do at that point is poor business.

This company charged us whether we used gas or not. We were billed every year for the price of a tank of gas. We told them to take the tank out and they charged us to empty the gas we paid for and they could resell. This company is the worst.

Ran service work on their building. Investigated their roof leak, old Roof with rotten decking. Completed the repairs in a timely manor. Informed them of the condition of the roof. Send them the invoice and they complained that I sent a 2 man service crew. Would not pay the invoice. I do not recommend this company.

I agree with another customer if I could give negative stars I would. Since the closing og our local office I have to deal with this one. 1 the NEVER answer the phone 5 people in the office and your lucky if they answer 1 time a week. They cant give me any info on my account told me I would know by Friday and now they dont know when. They have to find the contract. Really its not in the computer??? Very rude! Was suposse to have a guy at my house at 11am I called at 1215 was told oh hes held up on a job. What you cant call me so I'm not waiting. I said then have him call to make sure I'm here. Then at 5pm he shows up unannounced and was not very professional esp when I said you have 15mins to do what you need to because you were to be here at 11. Pretty sure after dealing with this office we will be cancelling service with them.

I have worked with this company for 12 years and they always bill us for not using enough propane even though we usually fill the tank.This morning they blocked my driveway with a propane truck so that they could come up and turn off access to the propane that we already purchased for an unpaid $12 bill. The next time the police will be involved.

If I could give negative stars I would. I am very displeased with the service we have received for the last several year regarding Suburban Propane. It's terrible to think that each year when it's time to order propane I cringe knowing I have to deal with their accounting faults. I have never had a time when ordering propane has been stress-free. Double billing, delivering propane when we didn't order it then expecting us to pay, claiming we owe a past due balance. Those are just a few of the accounting issues we have experienced. Their customer service and attitude is truly unbelievable. It's shocking. Please do your research when ordering propane.

I have been calling them asking them to remove their tank. Their tank was here when I moved in and they wanted me to sign a 3 year contract guaranteeing them $550 a year. I have a swimming pool and only use the propane occasionally so can not guarantee that dollar amount. They said too bad that is their policy. They are supposed to have someone call me to make arrangements to pick the tank up, I have called 3 times this year and no one will call me back.

We are a 20 year customer with Suburban Propane, and a few days we ran out of gas on a Sunday (first time). After calling Suburban, they sent out a truck that was on call to make sure we were serviced immediately. Alan responded and was super friendly. He also conducted a safety check to make sure we did not have a leak, and did a walk-through to make sure our gas appliances all started up ok after the fill-up. SUPERIOR customer service, thanks Suburban Propane.
