Cornell Clothing Co. is a unique and historic clothing store located in Newark, Ohio. Established nearly a century ago, this family-owned business offers a wide range of merchandise, from wool shirts and sweaters to vintage Levi's bell-bottoms and old Boy Scout patches. The store is a true time capsule, filled with an abundance of inventory that transports visitors back to another era. The owner, in his 70s, is a wealth of information and takes great pride in the store's rich history. Customers can learn about the building's origins as a stagecoach stop, as well as the fact that it was once the first Levi's retailer in Ohio and where Ralph Lauren got his start selling ties out of a trunk. The owner is always eager to share colorful stories, whether it's about Fats Domino playing pool with the previous owner or the store's connection to the Boy Scouts. While not an authorized Woolrich store, Cornell's is as close as one can find, offering high-quality merchandise and a truly one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Visitors are encouraged to take their time and explore the store, which is filled with new and vintage items, including rare Levi's jeans worth thousands of dollars. The store's unique charm and the owner's passion for preserving its history make it a must-visit destination for anyone in the area.
Saw your business on a YouTube channel, KULT News. Love the way you reacted to a man with a Camera. I will visit your establishment on my next trip out east.

The owner is a wealth of information. Not only is it the oldest building in Newark, but it is also the place where Ralph Lauren got his start, selling his ties out of a trunk out front. The first Levi's retailer in Ohio! I grabbed a really cool button up. Go and learn and shop to keep this awesome small business alive!
