Got a brand new 2023 Kia forte gt-line and 2 weeks after getting the car I noticed my BRAND NEW forte gt-line had Kia rio floor mats in it. I moved and I just recently moved back to Newark so I have stopped in to get the correct floor mats. And the gt-line mats could not even be ordered through them. Very disappointed that my gt-line forte now has base model floor mats. Could’ve at least given me the all weather mats to make up for your mistake.

We drove an hour and 10 minutes today on memorial Day to look at a 2012 Hyundai they said they had we get all the way there we wait he finally comes back and tells me that the whole underneath of it is rusted out he could have told us that before we drove an hour and 10 minutes away I asked to look at another car he leaves 20 minutes later he still didn't show up and we finally left

Very unsatisfied with this dealership. Have bought alot of cars but never issues like this and this dealership. I have a 2024 suv that has mechanical issues the dealership ordered a part and replaced the part but my vehicle stills makes the same horrible noise. Three trips with a lease and the miles are starting to add up for a supposed brand new vehicle. Guess I'll have to try a different brand or dealership. We'll here is an update replaced another part that didn't fix my vehicle...surprise surprise. So out of the 14 months owning this vehicle, 4 of them have been dealing with issues that still have not been resolved. I guess the customer does not mean that much to this dealership. ?

We looked online to see who was highly recommended at Kia Coughlin and consistently saw Joe's name. We asked for him when we went in and were exceptionally pleased with the experience from start to finish. He knows his stuff and is respectful of educated buyers so the whole process felt pretty seamless.

Joe Millat with Coughlin Kia Newark has been a dream to work with - twice!!
We have leased two cars from him directly within the last year and he is so calm and effective giving me all of the info via text to make it easier for us since we are in Columbus.
I would highly recommend working with Joe.
He’s truly a great guy.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Coughlin Kia of Newark. Today, I found a car I liked on a third-party website, listed for $6,900. I contacted the dealer directly through their website to confirm the availability and details of the car. Matt, the salesperson, responded and seemed helpful at first.
Despite living an hour away in Columbus, I decided to make the trip to the dealership, bringing a friend along for the drive. Upon arrival, I took the car for a test drive. During this time, the price of the car was suddenly increased to $15,000. Matt explained that while I was on the test drive, his coworker mentioned the car might sell soon, so they decided to ask for more money.
This experience was incredibly frustrating. The price was doubled in less than 45 minutes, making me feel like my time was completely wasted. I spent two hours driving back and forth, only to return home disappointed and empty-handed. The deceptive pricing and lack of transparency were unprofessional and unacceptable. I would not recommend Coughlin Kia of Newark to anyone looking for a reliable and honest car-buying experience.

They fixed my kia and I didn't have to pay for it (covered by warranty extension), so I'm pretty happy about that. They were able to get me in pretty fast, too!

A few months ago I was in the market for a new lease. Frustrated with my old dealership, I reached out to Coughlin and spoke with Josh Cook. He showed us several cars and was upfront and transparent. While I ultimately did not buy a KIA, I would consider them in the future based on the exemplary service from Josh.

I just bought a used car from Coughlin Kia of Newark this past week. Joe M helped me throughout the process and he was AMAZING. He wasn’t pushy or overbearing, but he was accommodating, knowledgeable, personable and quick. I had been chatting with another salesman from one of the other branches there in Newark but they were being pushy, just wanted to get me to come in and I didn’t feel like I was being listened to. Joe reached out to me again a few days after that and I emailed him back explaining where I was, what I wanted and he got back to me within 30 minutes showing me the car I purchased. He was so nice and patient with me needing to bring my 4 yo daughter with me to finalize the purchase. I could go on and on haha. Go to Joe, seriously. You’ll have a relaxed, stress free car buying experience!
