O.k. is anyone else fed up with the prices, customer service and over all experience at Goodwill? I've donated TONS of stuff to them over my lifetime and cannot believe the prices I see when I go in their stores! Non-profit in what world? Newsflash GW you aren't supposed to compete with Walmart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, etc but you are Losing! When I can buy it new for cheaper and not deal with a clerk that can't help me but will follow me around to make sure I'm not stealing one of their donated items! And they want you to take 2 items in dressing room so you have to get redressed if you want to try on 3 or more!!!!!! I mean I understand shoplifting hurts everyone but this is ridiculous! I have found churches and other charities that give items to those in need and they will be receiving my donations from now on and I believe GW has lost my business. Not that it will hurt their higher-ups who live in literal mansions! Done! Over it! Disgusted!

Goodwill on Mt Vernon street is a mid size store with a good deal of clothes, furniture and housewares. The clothes, there is a sizable amount of (mostly women’s clothes), but they are in generally below average shape (faded, worn) or in unappealing styles. Little for resellers, if that’s you. Also, the shopping experience is worsened because of tightly packed racks of clothes that should be separated into different categories, and aren’t.However, thrift store shopping is a roulette, and I did find a coat from UGG in good condition.Trying on the clothes is tedious as there’s only two fitting rooms, and they’re both locked, and the overworked staff will remind you it’s only try 2 items at a time.Probably the better section is the furniture section which takes up about a fourth of the store. This particular Goodwill has a large garage door that seems to make loading into your car easier.

This facility actually fills your 15 gallon propane tanks @ 3.49 dollars per gallon.Due to severe weather many of the local dealers were unable to sale or exchange tanks. Thank Heaven we were told about this service!

The cashiers are slow as molasses. But it's a good place to get propane.

Prices are outrageous. This is recent as the local Goodwills were not always this greedy. $2 per CD or DVD at a minimum. Old Xbox games were $8. Even toys were crazy high. Sucks for the community that relies on stores like this to save a few bucks. I do not recommend this GW location.

Non profit second hand store but most prices are higher than buying the product new. Why? Why scam the poor people like this?

Spent $70 and my daughter's kitchen is fully stocked, ready to cook. I even got a mixer with all of it as well as a 2-piece cannister set.

All the thrift stores owned by Goodwill that I've been into have had wonderful employees who are extremely helpful. The stores are hit or miss on the cleanliness with the two on Mount Vernon road in Newark and in pataskala have always been nice and clean every time I visited. The store in pataskala however has better prices than the one in Newark, they seem to be more reasonable and a little less expensive. However I enjoy being in both stores as it's always a pleasant experience every time. Plenty of parking at both locations, fitting rooms as well as handicap accessibility and parking.

Friendly staff, prices seem high on some items

Very friendly. But I know it's not the employees fault that the prices are starting to increase. I get higher prices on new merchandise however, the USED items are GIVEN to them FREE. So come on now. Picture frames for 5 n 6 dollars for example

They don't take returns, and they don't test their stock thoroughly, even if they label it as tested. Bought a broken appliance, and they refuse to refund. Shop at your own risk.

I love thrift shopping but Goodwill’s prices just keep rising and rising. Seems more than other thrift stores. Was shocked to see a chair on sale for $252. Out of curiosity looked it up, thinking it must be AT LEAST a thousand dollar chair.... it’s cheaper on Amazon. Sad.
