Gun Shops near Newark, OH

“Have bought from and worked trades with Matt multiple times. He's always a pleasure to do business with and I look forward to working with him in the future.”

“The range staff was super friendly and called me by name after speaking with them just one time. Good selection of storefront items to purchase and the memberships are a great deal!”

“First time visiting this store today, and I was beyond impressed. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone.

It was one of the best in-store experiences I’ve had in a long time. If you’re old enough to remember when businesses truly cared about the customer relationship, this place delivers exactly that. It’s genuinely refreshing to see shops like this still exist.

This store perfectly underlines why supporting local businesses matters more than big box stores. I will die on that hill—and Thundering Hills Gun Store proved that point today.

A+++++ across the board.”

“I had another very good experience, advanced outdoors in Heber. All employees are very intelligent and very courteous and very willing to give you as much time as necessary to find what you want. This is the seventh purchase of a weapon from Vance in outdoors in Hebron for me in the past 2 to 3 years I have been very satisfied every time I’ve been there always been treated very courteously and had all the help that I ever needed in any of the firearms that I’ve purchased in any of the accessories that I have purchased very honest and open, not trying to upsell you want anything they sell you what you asked for what you’re interested in you are once in your needs, they are not concerned about trying to make an extra book off of you. I’m very pleased with advanced outdoors in Hebron will recommend anyone goes there.

I had another very good visit to vance Hebron once my number was called the sales representative was very helpful and patient and polite with me showing me several firearms I wanted to look at closely and had answers for all my questions didn’t rush me and was very patient while I made up my mind on which firearm I was purchasing today I appreciate the help and patience and politeness all members of your staff were great and helpful. Thank you! July 16 2026.”

“Clean store, friendly staff. Bought a couple of firearms and the employee who assisted with that was knowledgeable and helpful. Probably only took around 20 minutes from walking in to walking out including the background check. Sale prices rang up correctly as well. Great job”
