Kicks Mix Bookstore is a local destination in the Newark area with a huge selection of new and used books, vintage books, children's books, used DVDs and CDs, and old vinyl records. It is a book lover's dream with clearly marked and organized shelves and excellent prices. The store has 3,200 square feet, a wonderful reading area on the second floor, and even a cat. It is an awesome bookstore to look for long forgotten classics and find new ones, making it a great place to spend an afternoon. The owner is lovely to talk with and so helpful, providing quality service and special orders. Newark is fortunate to have this locally-owned bookstore.
