1st class service and ownership. Would recommend to anyone needing auto electrical work done. Had my alternator benched and rebuilt for an extremely fair price. Took less than 2 hours. Much thanks to Ron and Ezra! Will be a returning customer.

Brought in my high amp alternator to be serviced as I was getting a battery light on the dash, initially he just replaced the bearings, which did not fix the issue. I called in letting him know it was still throwing the light, so he told me to bring it back in, which I did, and it turned out to be the regulator. He made it right by charging only part cost the second time around. Definitely recommend Newark Auto Electric to anyone having issues with their alternator. 😁

I (JW) will always recommend Newark Auto Electric. Ron is a genius. He is the only one I trust to work on my museum grade 1937 Olds Business Coupe. He replaced the starter, in fact, he had the original unit tucked away among his huge parts inventory. Wow!

I had a disappointing experience with Newark Auto Electric. Unfortunately, the service was not only unprofessional and rude, but it also felt like I was dealing with a con artist. The technician’s knowledge and workmanship were below average—honestly, a backyard mechanic could do a better job.
What really stood out was the lack of accountability. When I pointed out issues, he would dismiss my concerns and insist that things were never wired correctly, despite evidence to the contrary. This kind of attitude is frustrating and unhelpful.
I would not recommend Newark Auto Electric to anyone looking for reliable and honest service. There are definitely better options out there.
