I had a very smooth experience at this branch, and I attribute that to Kenneth. He was extremely professional, kind and got me back on track! Thank you so much for all of your kindness and wonderful help!

PNC BANK is the worst bank I’ve ever had to deal with

Worst bank ever. Take a check that THEIR customer wrote and they charge me $20 to cash it. It is YOUR flipping customer. Always have been told to take a check written on a specific bank to that bank to cash and now they charge. Well they will NEVER get my business ever.

Not my usual branch and I will keep it that way. They do not care if your standing there waiting forever their customer service is terrible.

I'm from out of state. Flew in due to a family emergency and forgot my purse. I only had my ID with me; I walk in and explain to the teller. She starts and then asks for a manager to verify. The manager said I need two forms of id. I explain I went to the Heath,OH location received help by them verifying me. She refused wouldn't help at all. I said look at my account you'll see I was helped in Heath. Call my home branch, ask me security questions.... She said leave the premises now or I'll call the police. I said this is horrible customer service. I'm a minority and didn't want to say it was racism but it sure felt that way. I immediately called my home branch. They were appalled at the service I received. The representative then explains that the PNC mobile app that I use can be used at the ATM without a card. I said "Wow! She could've just explained that same process to me! I would gladly use the ATM then walking into the bank." He didn't know why she didn't help me. He did file a complaint on my behalf. I hope this manager learns better customer service skills and some diversity training. Just because I don't look a certain way doesn't mean I'm being fraudulent.

The tellers at PNC Bank are always friendly, helpful and on point with their answers. I am greeted by name, which started one month after moving here, and that is important to me because it aids in trusting this establishment with my banking needs.

I went to the ATM today and tried to add cash to my pnc smart access card. I went through the whole process and put 800.00 into the ATM. After it counted and I verified the amount the ATM had me put my pin in for a third time. It said my pin was incorrect (even though it accepted it the first 2 times) and cancelled my transaction. It returned 140.00 of my 800.00 one bill at a time. I called the bank from the atm line and asked that they come get my money out as I could see it jammed up in there. They said they don't service it. I asked that they call whoever does and they said they can't do that. I had to go inside to file a dispute that can take however lobg they want to resolve. As I was in there crying and doing that another employee came over and interrupted to let the man doing the dispute (Garry) know another customer was waiting to open an account. Needless to say. They still have 660.00 of my money sitting in their ATM. They have my entire transaction at the ATM on time stamped video but they wouldn't do anything to get me my money back. Their response was that I should've gone inside to do my transaction. Their machine ate my money and they couldn't even lift a phone to call the service company and their response was to blame me because I chose to use the ATM. Now I get to worry about how I'm supposed to pay my rent that is due along with other bills and feed my family while they twiddle their thumbs deciding on whether or not to return my money that is jammed in their ATM.

The downtown PNC Newark location is so rude and the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a bank. The teller for the driver thru was talking on speaker directly beside my teller at the window. Then when I needed help with opening a credit card Garry was so rude I could hear him in his cubical say loudly there was not enough time. He came out and told me that he didn't have time before closing at noon on a Saturday. I drove to the Heath PNC location and experienced awesome customer service from Katrina Burke who took care of me and opened credit card for my son AND I was out of the branch before they closed at noon. I will never go to the downtown location again!! I will only go to the Heath location from now on! Great customer service and friendly helpful staff!!!

This branch is awful. When my husband went in to have a simple task done, the teller told him they couldn't do it. The teller went over and spoke with the manager who was sitting down talking with another employee, and came back and said no again. Not once did they ask my husband for his name or bring up his accounts. When my husband told me what happened I called the call center. The rep there said yes that can be done and called the branch manager. The manager said the teller must have been new and that if my husband comes back she will take care of him. The manager acted as though she knew nothing about this incident, and that it was a simple mistake...which was a lie. I let the call center rep know what really took place and he filed a complaint against the branch. The people who work at this branch are lazy and dishonest. If it hadn't been for the caring call center rep, we would have taken all of our business elsewhere.
