I mail boxes and letters here all the time. Usually a bit of a line but they go through it fast enough. Never had any issues.

When you try to call this post office, all it does is ring busy constantly, all day long....I don't know if they just are too lazy to answer the phone or, if they just think that it's cute to take the phone off of the hook but, this facility is pathetic. The people that are employed here are so unprofessional and so, I can't even say the things that I want to because, I have too much self-respect and decorum but, to do what they did proves that someone has no consideration for what their actions might put someone through The people that they employ and what they allow them to do is mind blowing...I spoke to 5 different people at 3 other post offices in 2 states today.and none of them said that they would have done what the Newark post office did. They sent a package of mine back because someone couldn't find it in themselves to make an obvious and I mean very obvious, correction to a very very minor, very minor mistake in a very well-known address and instead of making that correction, they decided that, they wanted to send the package back overseas and that package contained ( obvious by the address they could tell what the item might have been inside of that package) one of the last items that I own, that was purchased for me from my husband, that died!!. Now I have no idea if I will ever see it again... Way to go Newark post office!!! You know you could have fixed that tiny little itsy bitsy error and sent that package right along to me but instead you chose to send it back overseas and that was such a disgusting move on your part and if anything happens to it well I don't think I will say just yet but like I said before it's one of the last things that I have from my deceased husband and I'm not going to just let that go, not when that didn't have to happen and I have many other United States postal service workers that said what they said, that you could have easily remedied that situation and not sent it clear back overseas again!?!!

Newark mail man so rude! I bought a red flag for my house mailbox but my main mailman told me that was too hard to look for from the sidewalk. He told me instead to use a white paper clamped to the front. Totally fine, I’ll work with you if you take my mail although it looks ridiculous. Next guy got offended, ripped it off my mailbox and crumpled it up on the ground. I have a camera and have heard multiple rude comments/ disrespectful behavior to my property. If it’s not a traditional mailbox, it completely throws them off and they forget how to act.

Mail has not been showing up to 11 Wyoming street on time and sometimes it's opened at the corners when it does show!! It did not show up at all today on my block!! I have cameras watching i need the post master to make sure that route is doing his or her job

Absolutely horrible service, either my packages are always late or do not arrive entirely. They blame it on shipping issues yet the packages always arrive to there shipping facility.if you get an inch of snow they do not deliver. My grandpa worked for them for 35 years and rain or snow would walk miles to deliver each package on time . Now they have comforts of there mail trucks and yet they still can’t deliver a package . Amazon and FedEx will deliver in 30 below even if you ordered a gum wrapper they make sure there customers are happy . The fact that it makes me give a one star review is way to generous to this location. If you call the number it’s always off the hook and when you go in you are always greeted by the rudest staff that do not and wil not do there jobs correctly . The only person in there with common sense is there supervisor and she’s great and actually does her job. Also they will lie and say your driveway or business is inaccessible with a shoveled driveway then just pass by you . This needs taken care of I see the amount of comments and complaints. Do your jobs and revamp this staff this location needs fixed immediately

Absolutely disappointed constantly with this postal branch. I am going on nine days asking for a package to be found. I've gone in person to the facility, emailed, tried to call however when they transfer you to talk to a human being a busy signal begins every time, I've filed three complaints this week, and a clerk wrote down my phone number and I have not been called. Horrible.
Addendum
January 6, 2025 postal carrier lied concerning attempting a delivery when they did not attempt one at all. They claimed our home was inaccessible. Their is no current snowing, the roads are plowed and salted, our drive way is clear, and I shoveled the walk and porch and salted them so the letter carrier could safely bring my package to the porch. AGAIN lies and failure on the part of the Newark, Ohio Post Office.

Failed to do there job like always the Newark post office is a joke then you can't call down there because they take the phone off the hook playing with peoples mail is a federal crime

They delivered my package to the wrong address. Went to talk to them in person because the phone there rings busy 24/7. Supervisor refused to talk to me and I’m still trying to find my package
This branch is complete trash
The USPS should be required to submit a delivered photo of the package like other carriers do.

Their equipment is old and not working. One lady was having issues with her scanner so only half my order was scanned, so I tried the other register and was able to scan all my packages. I've sent out over 20,000 orders at various post offices and never had a single issue with my lables! Use our tax money to get them some better equipment

Why is the lobby locked at 930pm on Monday?? It’s a 24:7 self service location. Either change that on the website or stop locking the doors
