Kids loved it. Will be sending them all again this summer. Would have been 5 stars, but the protocol for treatment of lows has not kept up with current technology.2023 The camp started a satellite camp in Michigan . It was at the BSA camp in Metamora. Kids had a blast. The oldest wants to be a camp counselor now! Kids will be going to the camp in Ohio and Michigan now! Great job Ian ?

1st year attending, we attended the family camp. (I do wish it was longer of a camp) but no questions asked we will absolutely be driving 3hrs away one way every year to attend the diabetes camp! It was amazing in so many different aspects. Eye opening, so much fun and every one of the workers were excellent!

My daughter starting going here two years ago after newly being diagnosed with T1 Diabetes. She loves it. It give her more confidence and freedom to deal long term with her diabetes. She has made friends and looks foward to her teen weekend and her week in the summer. Next year we will do two weeks in the summer for her. GREAT place! Wonderful staff and campers! Thank you!

Omgosh, this place man... I haven't been to this place since I was younger like 12 , 13 .. I went a few summers and the people were truly amazing, fun&loving ! I'm 30 now & was thinking about it randomly! Brought tears to my eyes. How I miss EVERYTHING bout it. I've did things there lots wouldn't have done .. horse ridings, canoeing.. archery ,fencing.. the list goes on. I would love to work here one day. Much love ! God bless my friends ❤️

Camp Ho Mita Koda has changed my life since I was 10 years old and newly diagnosed with a child with diabetes. Type 1 Diabetes flipped my world upside down and I couldn’t think of a better place for a child to be among others who understand what they are going through. Being in my thirties and still attending camp each and every summer to ensure the magic stays alive for the kids makes my heart race thinking about it. This place will help kids become independent with their disease and find life long connections and bonds. Have a blast this summer and come have fun!! Camp has very well trained counselors, nurses and assistants to help make diabetes go smooth out in the wilderness while having fun!!!
