It's been years since I've been here, it used to be a nice place to eat,
I worked at the old (really old now) truck stop that was here, before it was torn down and a (new) one built...
Things sure change after 36 years...
It sure would be nice to have it back up and running like it was before, it had a C-store, and a buffet in it, as well as the garage and fueling spots...
I've been told it was a good place to meet certain ladies to,

Store was clean and restroom open. Unfortunately, only one gal ringing up customers as quickly and friendly as she could while the rest of the staff stood out back smoking.

I had to pee and their bathroom was supposedly "out of order" and when I asked why she was RUDE about it. If there was an option for 0 starts I would put it ... I'm dissatisfied. ?... the food options and prices were fine.

Restrooms were out of order while I was holding in my pee, I felt like I was about to explode after drinking a matcha latte from Starbucks that didn't agree with my stomach. When I asked the lady at the front if the restrooms we're closed she was extremely rude and said "yeah they closed, go to McDonald's" when I asked when they would be open because I did not want to venture into the mess of McDonald's she just shrugged her shoulders and said she was clueless. Get it together, this is a gas station it's not that complicated to know basic information such as when the restrooms will be open again.

I stopped at Duke and Dutchess to fill my car up with gasoline the evening of June 19th 2017. I was on a long road trip. The station was dated. The gasoline leaned toward the high side, but the customer service was over the top fantastic. The attendant was welcoming, genuinely friendly and upbeat...and not in a phony or robotic way. I plan on stopping there on all my trips to and from Ohio. It's is a real hometown, friendly kind of place.
