The Indian guy that works at Metro PCs in front of mall is a scammer. I was buying a new phone he told me was price of phone out the door because I was using same number. Then said he had to charge me 30 dollars for transferring number to other phone said was because my old phone was working then also charged me 15 dollars for a text message due to my phone not working but said was actually 28 dollars but can do it for 15 dud is a scammer

This MetroPC location is awful. They are not open when they claim to be. There's a language barrier. The couple who works there are rude and can barely understand your questions. My advice is to go a little further to another location. That's what we did.

So yesterday we went in to switch over from Mint and the experience was great. The guy was easy to work with and it was going to be free with the ACP but we were missing a piece of information and had to come back the next day. So we get there today and the new guy is having internet issues which was understandable. We ask if he could call somebody else to put in our info while his router's restarting since we're in a rush and he says no, which he later changes to yes for some reason. Then after he does that he comes out of nowhere with a $50 "activation fee". Now I know that the SIM is the only thing that should cost $10 since we're bringing our own phone but the normal $30 a month plan should be free at this point because of our ACP confirmation.

Customer service has always been fast,my complaints are the oder in that store. The man that works there has obviously denounced the use of deodorant and its unbearable to even stand in that store. Deodorant is a public service if you are dealing with the public. I will absolutely be going to a different location. Please tell him to be respectful and take care of that foul oder.

I was told by another metro to request the district manager reach out to me, I would like the district manager to reach out to me.It all started on Decemeber 24.2020 I made my way into the Belmont ave store in liberty ohio. I was switching companies, I wanted iPhones XR and for switching the sign said 299 when switching, the will call him salesmen for lack of a better term told me they would be 499 each, why is that I say the sign says 299 when you switch, and I called another store and they said 299 also, to which he replied the store was lieing, but he didn’t have any anyway, he then went to the back of the store and brought out an iPhone 8, an iPhone X, and one other kind of iPhone, all of them where in clear bags and came with no box, which he said “his “boss” buys them for when the customer wants them” I said are they used? He said they are refurbished from Apple themselves, I said no thank you. I began to suggest I’d probably go to another store, to which he said his boss owns (liberty, niles (across) from mall, and another store I cannot recall which one) and that the prices and inventory would be the same I’d be wasting my time, that oh byea he had iPhone ses, that where better then the xrs, and spent 20 minutes telling me all the ways it was a better phone. It wasn’t, he said it was the same phone as the xr with better internals. It wasn’t. So anyway I change company’s buy to phones, that he assured me I owned, (which I will get to that ina moment) at the end of this my total is 367.odd change $ I go to press print recipet on the card thing, to which he promptly stomped me woah woah woah, are printer is done you cannot do that. Writes down 367. & odd change into piece of paper alone assured me we can find transaction using my card.Fast forward 48 hours laterThe iPhone se is horrible, I don’t think the guy told me one single true thing about the phone, and on top of that I’m dropping calls like crazy internet ain’t working nothing. I call liberty to explaim this, I get cut from two days prior, tell him I wanna return the phones he lied about performance design, visuals etc I wanted to return them get different phones, he informed me I couldn’t, I only had 1 hour to make any returns. Frustrated I argue, and get no where and get off the phone. I head to niles location not remembering the owner owns this store to, this is where I meet the owner, the snake oil salesman, that has screwed me out of 1100$ at least.This is maybe two days after calling liberty location so 4/5 days after purchasing the phones.I enter niles store where he’s greets meHow can I help you?Hello I was at liberty 4/5 days ago I switched from att, and the guy didn’t have anything I wanted, so he kinda sold me a pipe dream with these to iPhone ses, there nothing like he described and I’m not even gunna get into the poor service I’m getting with them, but anyway I tried to take them back to return them, and he said I only have an hour, however metros policy says I have 14 days as long as the phone isn’t damaged (which it wasn’t)The actual owner which I didn’t know at the time reply’s well to do only have one hour to return phones, but since you seem like nice guy I will return 1 phone for you, I kick it around, my first question is, so then I’d be a new customer and can get an xr for 299? He reply’s no I don’t get any deal any phone I got would be full price.
