Well equipped little hardware store with a great selection (including name brand power tools). They are much closer to home than the nearest big box home improvement stores and their prices are reasonable. They even have some items that Home Depot, for example, doesn't; like metric taps and dies.
Only reason for the 4 stars is because last time I was in there, the gentleman working hovered over me like I was a suspected thief. Sorry but I like to be left alone when I'm browsing unless I need help finding an item. I was trying to take in everything they carried so I know for future projects if I can get things there or not.

Small store, but good selection. A little cluttered but prices were less than some chain hardware stores. People were helpful and friendly.

We recently moved to Farmdale (Gustavus) and found this store while exploring our new area. At Bloomfield Hardware & More I found the three things (plus one!) that I look for in a hardware store:1-Well-stocked with great quality hardware and AMERICAN-made tools2-Solid customer service from a knowledgeable (products and product’s location) staff3-Reasonable pricesPLUS-ONE-I’m retired from the US Army and I GREATLY appreciate the veteran discount that they offer me!There’s another hardware store half the driving distance from my house to Bloomfield Hardware, but for all the reasons mentioned above, I frequently drive farther to get the better products, prices, and service. Thank you and keep up the good work BH&M!
