1st time at this location. I went in to buy contacts. Front desk employee was rude and did not want to help me. After she looked up my account she said to have a seat and someone would be right with me to order them. I waited for 15+ minutes for the employee wondering around talking and doing nothing to finally ask me if i needed help even though she was there when i walked in. After 20+ minutes of wasting my time they couldn’t even order my contacts. I’m not mad they couldn’t order them I’m mad at the way i was treated and time i wasted sitting there while someone doesn’t even do their job. I am a long time customer of Americas best with all of my children and i will never be back to this location.

Love the eye doctors but the Staff is the worst and it has not changed in years. Please do yourself a favor and do not visit this location. Between the staffs customer service and attitudes it's not worth the your time. It's not even worth it to go inside and buy a box of contacts or have your glasses fixed.

This practice only does well with glasses prescriptions. The doctor did not do well with interpreting the contact lenses prescription. It was very bad, I would not return due to that fact.

Everyone is very nice but we waited 45 minutes for our eye appt. What’s the point of scheduling a time if it’s pushed that far forward?

Service beyond expectation! I am a regular customer at AB, and a frequent visitor. I bend, brake, crush, smudge and pop my frames and lenses, and the staff always kindly and carefully get me back in operation. They are always friendly and helpful, and take the time to do everything they can to make my situation right. They have earned a devoted customer.

Americas Best Eyeglasses and Contacts in Belden…well let’s just say incompetence is high there! Ordered 2 pair of glasses and spent almost $600 for them to screw it up!! Instead of ordering me the 2 different frames I wanted, they ordered 2 of the same frames..AND the prescription was wrong in both pair!! To say I am ticked is an understatement ??

READ THE REVIEWS! i should of listened. I came in here a month ago and got a eye glass and contact exam with no insurance so I payed out of pocket. The doctor was rude and treated me if I was brainless and not human.He was a bald man. I got my glasses a week later, they was so messed up I can’t see out of them and I instantly got a headache. I still haven’t received my contacts in a month. Get ur self a doctors office not a store with doctors who don’t actually know what there doing. This store has the worst reviews. Customer service is the WORST! no body is nice here. Place needs to be shut down. There’s a reason they are in the back of belden village. DONT COME HERE

All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They take time to look at your insurance and explain all pricing.The doc is overbooked, so there is a long wait time. I didn’t get to see the doc until over an hour after the appointment was scheduled.The exam was fine but the doc would adjust his machine and not say anything, not ask me if one setting was better than another. Sometimes he would ask me if I’m sure one setting is better than another. Like… yeah I’m sure since I’m staring right at it.Also, the doc got really close to my face a couple times and made me a bit uncomfortable.

If you can't adjust glasses you shouldn't be behind the counter that does. Even after telling the lady they felt wrong she said no their fine.... Now I have to go somewhere else because my glasses are digging into my nose and back of my ears making them red. If you don't know how to adjust glasses. Don't.

Customer service at the North Canton location was terrible! The doctor was very professional, but some of the staff were rude. They sent in an incorrect order and when I went in to have it corrected the lady who corrected the order had a nasty attitude. When my corrected glasses did come in they never called to let me know. After a good amount of time had gone by I finally called them and found out that my glasses had been ready for a few days! The staff definitely needs customer service training.

Unfortunately, I give it one star. The lady who was thr GM denied someone to have their service animal that was in training I looked at the ohio revised code and there's also no sign. Thankfully these people canceled their appointment and are reporting the issue. I found the GMs management skills in handling the situation to be novice and overall inept to knowing when and where service animals are allowed. They even showed them the service card.

The eye exams themselves have been great and the staff seems nice but they always mess something up. Last time I was in, it was the glasses that were wrong. Now I just tried it get contacts and the trainee didn’t order it correctly so I have to wait another week after it’s already been 2. Just very poor service. And incredibly frustrating. Also if I wouldn’t have called how long would it have been before they notified me of their mistake because it took them 12 mins to figure out what was wrong. I got transferred to 3 different people.

Had an appointment at Everhard office June 10 at 10:30 and the customer service was awful. She gave me my total and I asked for a breakdown and she said she would give it to me after I paid. She didn’t apply my insurance to the safety glasses even after I told her they cover them twice! She got the manager and she finally applied it. Hope my glasses come in right! We have been going here for years but this will be my families last visit there.

The canton location is horrible. Poor costumer service,and very unorganized. They have lost my eye records, and will not verify prescription with orders purchased from the America Best website. They refer you to the 1-800 and they refer you back to the retail store. This happened the past 3 times I placed an order for contacts. When confronted with all the problems with my account there was no accountability. Just kept referring me back to the 1800 number.
