Multiple issues with my elderly parents prescriptions, from not refilling them when prescriptions are due for automatic refills to placing prescriptions on hold after doctor has called them in. Elderly people need clear communication, courtesy & assistance. This Discount Drug Mart location is the worst I’ve ever experienced.

This is THE worst Discount Drug Mart I have ever been to and I'm from the greater Cleveland area! 3 separate times I was treated rudely or the person I was with was. Myself by a cashier (she still works there I saw her today, the day in question she was throwing items by the register) throwing a tantrum about something that didn't have to do with me or any other customer, a friend of mine about his prescription and he was 100% in the right (he was screamed at until he cried and drove away) and my husband at the post office area. The post office area where you pay utilities etc. The employee was unnecessarily rude and did not even know the basics of mailing a package. Also, packages cost quite a bit to mail, maybe try accepting cards also.

The wait time at this pharmacy is consistently ridiculous. What a nightmare.Today 10.31.23:-Wait in drive thru behind one car: no movement after 10 minutes-Go inside and wait behind one person: no movement after almost 10 minutes-Back to drive thru bc there's no sense waiting by sick people. 19 minute wait until I get to the window. Then the tech smuggly tells me to enjoy my day. This was my family's last script here. This would be embarrassing for a fast food joint, let alone an establishment with medical professionals.

Worst pharmacy I have ever used. Make sure to call 2 weeks before you need any refills and once they do have them filled it takes another 45 minutes because they did not fill everything. This will be my last time filling anything here!

There is a young girl with dark brown hair that works at this drug mart location, I think her name is Isabelle??? I hope I have the name right. She is the sweetest young lady. She has waited on me a few times and every time she has been very outgoing, helpful, and sweet. I bought a bunch of items marked down and she told me she made sure the prices rang up correctly. She has perfect customer service!

I'm so glad I switched to this pharmacy. I used to wait days to have my prescriptions refilled when I was a CVS customer. Now the longest I've ever had to wait was 5 minutes - completely reasonable. Not to mention this place has a decent selection of groceries, office supplies, and even clothing if you need to pick up something extra. Really impressed with the pharmacy staff in particular.

I like old school and throwback local stores. This store had more of an old feel about it - old and over used outdated decor. I really wouldn't care much about that but I needed something and three workers saw me looking up and down the aisles but continued their own conversations and walked past. It was so evident I needed assistance and equally evident that they weren't engaged with me so it frankly felt awkward for me to interrupt them. Old decor is one thing, disengaged service is altogether different. By contrast, Rite Aid across the street was opposite in every way. It made me wonder why I haven't gone there in so long.

I’ve always enjoyed going to these stores and supported them because they are local. No more! I went the North Canton store tonight and was shocked by lack of caring & professionalism.Beware if you are in the group that is at risk for Covid & the variants. Discount Drug Mart does NOT require employees to wear masks, only in the Pharmacy*. When I checked out on 12.6.21 I asked cashier Tessie why she wasn’t wearing a mask she said “I don’t have to I already had Covid”. At first I thought she was joking; she was not. I explained that wearing a mask would protect the elderly and others that are susceptible to Covid, that she could be a carrier. She just stared at me. So, I went to talk to the manager Ben, who was in the Pharmacy without a mask!*. Ben smiled (smirked) & said “we don’t have to wear masks unless we are in the Pharmacy”, which he was in the Pharmacy without one. THE ISSUE is their lack of caring about the people who come to their store. Remember, they give out Covid & Flu shots as well as provide services to people of all ages & health situations.Would you go to a hospital or doctor if the staff was not wearing a mask?!? I wear a mask in public, why not? It’s such a simple thing to do for humanity & to protect myself & others.I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Called ahead to check on prescription status for grandma, as to not leave her alone at home too long while I went to pick it up. They said it would be ready in 30 minutes. 2 hours later, I go to the pharmacy... I have been waiting over 15 minutes so far...Might as well have gone to Walgreens...

I have been going here for over 20 years. The staff is always been friendly and if they don't have something I need they will order it for me. They cover a multitude of insurances because I've had at least five over the past 20 years. The pharmacy staff is excellent and always ask if I have any questions. Their prices are good, and I appreciate the sync your meds and first Wednesday of the month senior discount.

I don’t know why I haven’t switched pharmacies. I was given expired medicine for my son about a month ago, I’m glad I noticed it right away. I called and was told that the expired medicine would still be fine, but I insisted that I come back and exchange it for one that wasn’t expired. The people at the pharmacy talk over me when I call, and are very rarely welcoming when I come into the store. The drive through is a pain because you sit there waiting and waiting to be acknowledged and when you are, very little communication. This last time I called, I was practically hung up on. Would not recommend.

The staff has been so helpful, especially when problems come up with medications. This is the only pharmacy my family uses.
