I witnessed an employee hand a customer an item directly OFF the cart as she wheeled it out of the backroom. After speaking to one of the managers? This is common practice. He stands behind his employees favoritism 100%. Another employee told me that there is a list of people who are looking for certain items. I guess the items donated are saved for THESE people. Makes me wonder what price THEY are paying for the merchandise. The same manager said that second part doesn't happen. Right. I guess it's ALL a matter of perception. LOL

The prices are so high! Goodwill claims that they are there to help people. People can't afford to shop at the stores. Except for the people who purchase and resell items. They make me sick with their greed! I give things to others to help them. There's a concept that MOST people don't understand. Actually being charitable.

Dropping off donations here was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and helped me unload my car very efficiently.

Just went to this store and walked out as quickly as we walked in. There were people just hanging out and everything is in bins that you have to dig through. It's dirty and so disorganized. Will never go there again. Do better. Get some racks and hangers like the other Goodwill stores. Gross.

So, my daughter and I went to the North Canton store for her to look for a porcelain doll. We found one she liked but it didn’t have a price tag on it. We get to the register to buy it, only to learn about the new “24 Hour Hold” policy for items that don’t have tags on them. This policy is a horrible business model that’s disrespectful to customers. I understand that people will try to take the price tag off to try to get a better price or attempt to haggle the price they want but there has to be a better solution than to waste customers’ time to try to find time to go back to the store the next day, with fingers crossed that they didn’t make a pointless trip back, to search for the item they wanted back on the store floor with no guarantee that the item didn’t get sold. There has to be a better solution than not making a sale at all. There aren’t many items in any given Goodwill store that are so valuable that telling a customer that they can’t buy something if it doesn’t have a tag on it. For what it’s worth, the other two porcelain dolls on the shelf also didn’t have price tags on them either. Furthermore, the dirty, damaged Ball jar I was going to buy also didn’t have a tag on it either and I wasn’t able to buy it either, along with several other items that we browsed at. I am going to try to go back tomorrow to see if I can still get this doll my daughter fell in love with that we were told we couldn’t purchase but probably won’t go back to Goodwill until this policy gets revised because I’m not going to waste time looking through random garbage, only to find something I would give money for and be told that I can’t buy it. Perhaps the people at the corporate office who established this policy that prevents the company from making sales by making their customers find things they can’t buy should be forced to go through everything all day every day that’s on the floor at every store to ensure that there’s a price tag on everything. …and to think that before we went to look for some things at the store, I dropped off 3 bags of nice, gently used or not used at all (some still had the original tags) girls and womens clothing that you’ll make more money from than what that doll my 13 year old daughter was willing to spend her own money on. Thanks for ruining our Sunday afternoon on someone’s ill-planned “sorry we don’t have a price tag on it so you can’t buy it” policy.

They've raised prices so much! I can buy items brand new for a few bucks more than what they're selling them for USED. They wanted almost $30 for a USED twin size comforter
