I have been shopping at North Canton marcs for many years and have always loved the place but they totally messed up on the self check out setup it's a terrible disaster PLEASE fix the problem or I'll be shopping elsewhereMight want to ask ALDI'S for advice????????????

We shop here weekly. Since the self-checkouts were put in, they try to force customers into those lanes. Then, when customers complain about long lines, the managers are nowhere to be found. I feel bad for the cashiers who are dealing with the nonsense. It's about time to switch our weekly shopping destination.

Can't wait for this cashier Karen H to start her new job like she was talking about to some customer in front of me because she has the most rotten attitude and I see why Marc's isn't giving her this raise she's complaining about not getting. I would give 5 stars as I love buying Better Oats Steel Cut Protein Oatmeal here but this Karen lady attitude is the worst. Makes sense why her name is Karen haha someone pray for her

Really gross inside this store. The deli was disgusting and the were cutting meat and cheese on the same slicer because they were too lazy to clean another one. Some of the meat coolers were warm and filthy. The health department should shut that place down.

I stopped in for a couple pumpkins and wine. They were busy, not a problem. When I got to checkout I was one of 4 lanes waiting for a manager to ring alcohol for an extended period of time. People were upset and the cashier told me he was just going to cash me out and I could go buy the wine at customer service. I told him I didn’t want to wait in another line and at this point the manager was right behind him to ring me up but, he sent her away and cashed me out instead! Then when I get up to customer service the woman didn’t say a single word to me, not even a greeting. She proceeded to ring me up for all my groceries again and I told her no I just needed the wine I already paid for the pumpkins and she snapped at me and said I never told her that. She never asked or even spoke to me! I have no problem being patient and waiting for service but, it’s sad that after that chaos I’m treated with poorly.

Done with Marc's (and not just the N. Canton location). A few weeks ago, I went to an outdoor concert, and I saw a cool collapsible chair at Marc's. It had a little table fold-out table with a couple cupholders, and was more comfortable than the regular canvas chairs. It was $30, and it was the only item I purchased there that day. I used chair the that night, and I enjoyed it. I used it 2 more times just sitting around in my backyard, and that 3rd time the back canvas piece just ripped right off the frame, which ruined the chair. I'm not that big of a guy, and I wasn't doing anything other than just sitting there, so it was CLEARLY defective. I took it back to Marc's, without a paper receipt BUT with the credit card statement line item. I like the chair, so I just wanted to swap it out, wasn't looking to return it for a refund or credit. I have done similar things before at all kinds of stores with no problem at all. The person behind the counter said "Nope, Heather (whoever Heather is) doesn't allow returns or exchanges without a paper receipt". Okay. Who keeps paper receipts in 2022? So I left the chair on the counter and left. I wasn't mean, I just shook my head and walked out. So, Heather, I will never shop at yours, or any other Marc's ever again. Why would I? There's Aldi and Meijer coming, Acme is practically next door, and Giant Eagle is like 8 minutes away. I'm also telling my entire family never to shop at Marc's ever again. You literally jumped over dollars to get to dimes, only this will cost Marc's thousands of dollars, because my whole family shops there (not anymore). And for what? $31.94. I don't normally go "Karen mode", but I was so shocked by this policy that I felt compelled to speak out to possibly save others from making the same mistake I did.

I always like the close out aisles! You can find some good deals. Great selection of wines too! The produce is always good and a great price. They carry Troyer's pies! It is a clean store. However, like all other places you get the not so friendly staff. Not saying they are all like that, but have had a few that have been just kind of cold, not friendly. If you need a window air conditioner, they were only 149.99! Which I think is an awesome price!

lady that works register 11 is very rude and needs wrote up if she spoke to me the way she has my wife she wouldn't have a job will never shop in this store again no wonder they have work the early shift

Very slow service with some truly redundant processes. Two minutes was added on to our check out alone from the cashier fumbling with rolls of "PAID" stickers to put on our beverages. For what? To show we bought the item? You know what else proves we paid for our items? The receipt! Just hand us the receipt! Like every other grocery store on Earth! My God, what a frustrating thing to stand there and watch.This poor person was there accidentally covering themselves with useless stickers and placing them one at a time of 12 packs and jugs of iced tea. Completely unnecessary, and not only an inconvenience to the customer, but an unnecessary cost to the company. Again, the receipt shows the same thing the stickers do.Stop with the stickers and use the money to get some conveyor belt checkouts, please.
