Went into Royal Family Motors today to look at 2014 Ford Explorer that I saw online listed for $13,234. When i sat down with the salesperson, i immediately let them know what vehicle I was interested in , how much I needed my payments to be, and I that I already had a preapproval for a loan. The salesperson took down some of my info and took it back to the finance desk and I thought we would take the vehicle for a test drive before running my credit. However, the salesperson left me sitting at his desk for and hour! While I was sitting there I got notifications on my phone that I had 3 new inquiroes on my credit report. Mind you instill haven’t even driven the car to say I wanted it or not yet(not cool). Then the salesperson finally came back and said he would go get the keys so I can test drive the vehicle. That took another 15-20mins before he pulled up out front with a whole other vehicle I didn’t ask for and he asked me if I wanted this one instead because the one I wanted wasn’t available due to being repaired, which wasn’t the case.(it was actually on the lot, was brought over from the other lot) he just was unaware, not really the salesperson’s fault ??♂️
We finally get the keys and took the vehicle for a test drive(10mins). There was a couple issues with the vehicle, but they said they would get them resolved. So that was a good thing. We get back to the lot after the test drive and salesperson goes back to the finance and stays there for a good while. Then he finally comes back to his desk with what they can do on financing for me. The price of the vehicle was almost $3k more than advertised online($15,995) and the payment was more than I stated I wanted it to be when I walked in. The salesperson said it was because of my credit score(high risk)and because I never had an auto loan before, but my pre approval was for 5x,6x the amount I was trying to spend(so I must not be that high risk ??♂️)or I wouldn’t have gotten that high in f an approval. I questioned the numbers and he told me that the online price was entered incorrectly by someone else there and the boss caught it and told them that was priced too low(not my problem, they posted a price they should honor the price). The posted online price was the reason I chose to come here in the first place. After haggling back and forth about the price, I left the lot empty handed. I feel that my time wasted(3hrs) and that this whole situation should have been handled a lot different. And i feel I was kind of screwed over by running my credit through multiple creditors before I even agreed to buy the car (now I have 3 hard inquiries). I will never go back or recommend anyone else to go their for their car needs. Since I walked out, I have gotten a few calls asking for me to call back they have “good news”, i refuse to return the call, whatever “deal” they are offering after the fact should’ve been offered when I was in their building

I recently bought my dream car dream them. I was in a hit and run and it totaled the jeep I had so I was buying a new one. I did my research and due diligence to look for my dream car within my budget. I literally drove past the lot, seen they had 2 Wranglers in the lot and pulled in, I had nothing but time and opportunity.
I met with Angelo the sales associate and ayer they ran my credit into the ground running it through several banks (they didn't need to I was already approved with my bank but they did it anyway to see if they could get me a "better rate") they had one wrangler that was recently traded in feom someone they said they had years of previous business with (like dude bought, sold and traded several vehicles with them). Took this wrangler for a test drive and fell in love with it. Legit less than 24 hours go by and I'm back in the lot with all the paperwork and approval from my credit union and I buy the jeep. Was Angelo nice? Absolutely, did he explain the Warrenty or anything like that? Nope.....
Within the first week of me having it my break lights and rear indicators stopped working, huge safety risk. I called the shop they were able to figure out and fix the issue Within minutes. Fantastic! Now I'm driving around the 2nd week and all of the sudden my jeep stops accelerating. I thought it may have been a fluke the first time, but when it happened again on my way home from work I called the shop again. I figured I'm still under warranty I should be good. Quick timeline I haven't had the jeep for 2 weeks yet and Labor day is coming up. I had plans to go out of town with my jeep but due to the issues we decided to take my boyfriends car and we left my car with the shop at royal family. We left my jeep on a Thursday night in hopes they would find the problem, and fix it. Labor day came and went and I had called 2 times at this point to check on my vehicle. Yall when I say they "waited for approval on the warranty for 2 weeks" I mean I literally had to call them almost every day for 2 WEEKS to get any information. Now they did give me the diagnostic, they claimed it was the rear wheel hub, and something they were calling an "ABS vaccume pump ". When I say I googled, I googled these things.... I couldn't find an ABS vaccume pump for the life of me for my particular jeep. Thank God my neighbor is an educated and certified machenic and has a degree where he literally works on cars, when I told him what was up he told me to get my jeep back and he will find out the real problem because he jas never heard of an ABS vaccume pump with his 20 years of experience. That man had my jeep for 30 minutes and fixed my problem. My emergency break was rusted and broke and a pin that held it was lodged into my ABS sensor in my left rear wheel. You know what made it better, THERE IS NO ABS VACCUME PUMP ON MY JEEP AT ALL!!!! Royal Family tried to take thousands of dollars from me for a part that doesn't exist for my jeep!! For 2 weeks I could have had my car and got it fixed if they would have just taken the wheel off and seen the rusted e-break. But no stress, I have my neighbor to help me and I'm even able to help learn how to fix things on my jeep while paying him for the parts and some labor.
Just to keep you guys on top of this with me, I had my car for less than a month and I drove it for about a week for them to let it sit in their lot just to find out it was a fix that was done in 2 hours total of work (I know because I watched it happen and timed it)
OH! DON'T STRESS ABOUT THE WARRANTY! NOTHING WAS COVERED WITH IT! Making it pointless to even leave my jeep there.

Whole process was very smooth and they were very accommodating the entire time. They made sure I was satisfied and did everything in their power to get me the car I wanted. Jeremy was my salesman and he did a wonderful job. Got me in and out quickly, didn't make me feel uncomfortable or pressured to make any decisions, and was very relatable as a person. I would come back for my next car in the future!

Last year in June 2023 I went there to look for a suv that would better benefit my family. After a long day I was able to purchase a 2015 Lincoln Navigator. I was super nervous but the salesman Matt and Julius made it a very good easy experience. And as nervous as I was I put my faith in them I got a very reliable car. Julius was the man that I sign my papers with and with the high-monthly payment I had his words stuck in my head “you have to walk before you can run with a payment you want.” I knew going in with my credit I was going to have a high interest rate and payment and it was okay with me. But, I still purchase the suv and a year later my credit had went way up and I was able to refinance from a 24-26 interest rate down to 6% so with that being said. My experience with this company was very good. No matter how many times I called to ask questions or just bug them about something. They treated me with respect and answered my concerns each and every time and never made me regret my decision. I also purchase the warranty and it never once let me down the times I used it I only had to use it 2/3x and it was a very easy process so, I definitely would purchase a warranty if the vehicle your looking at has it offered so if you need it you have it at your fingertips in case. I can’t remember what warranty I have but it cover just about anything.

Joke Joke Joke they don’t no what there doing there talked to them for 3 days about a list of vehicles said they had them for a certain price and what you no they didn’t. So I sent my wife out there because I was at work and what do you no they tried to push a truck off on her that was a death trap had lights on you name it falling apart, then the other junk cars had went up a few thousand and they probably im sure was falling apart to, this was one of the worst experiences let me tell you, there crooks that buy death trap cars and sell them to the public and what even makes it worse is that the car lot is surround by a nice community and you can go to the hood with crime all over the place and get something better, this company needs shut down there going toget someone hurt selling death trap cars. You don’t have to send a fake reply royal family motors your company is trash and you need sued for all the money you stole from people with your junk.
